How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The Shuttle bus is a great added value. Ahmed who received me at the airport was friendly, responsive and punctual.

The beauty parlour was not adequate and put me off going (as a female it did not feel discreet as mixed with men’s salon), the gym needs updating. I didn’t like someone checking my mini bar before I could check out, the premium room kept on asking us for our room number and said we could not enter.

For some odd reason, the cleaning staff decided to vacuum with the loudest vacuum machine I have ever experienced at 5 AM in the morning. When approaching the cleaning staff they didn’t want to stop before we went out to the managers at the reception. People usually stays at these nearby by airport hotels because they have an early flight and therefore will get up early to catch the flight. Therefore vacuuming at 5 am is just not okay
If you need to stay near the airport or just want to be in that part of the city out of the traffic and noise it’s a really nice hotel. Pleasant staff and nice rooms. They provide you with everything you need; from toothbrush and paste to comb and lofa.

We booked an free airport shuttle at 8.30 am, because our flight was 10:30 am. As it is less then 5 minutes drive to airport, we would be far on time. The shuttle was waiting for all other guests and left at 8.55 am. Also it went first to terminal 1 (it is an extra 5 minutes drive). So, we had to stress a bit at the airport at security, check in and customs. To me, they should let other guests who also have booked a shuttle, but who are too late for the shuttle they have booked, take another shuttle later.
We got a free upgrade to the premium room, these rooms are new and you can feel the difference. Everything was clean and hygienic. Bed was comfortable and really good and clean shower. In room minibar, wardrobe, tv and safety box. Pick up shuttle was immediately ready when we came out of airport. I’d have chance, book the premium room!

We stayed here for one night before we flew home, therefore it is hard to review properly. We were comfortable and staff were helpful. The restaurant on site was delicious and very affordable for the quality and quantity of food provided.

- VERY loud club music outside (even the windows were trembling from the sound) until around 10 pm. - some slight but noticeable weird smell in the room - welcome dessert looked kinda pathetic (a few tiny sweets and stale fruits), it's better not to serve it at all, than do it this way) - the room was for 2 people, but a shower robe and slippers were for 1 person only, the staff promised to bring it but they didn't.

The cleaning staff start cleaning the rooms very early in the morning and it might be a little bit noisy if you want to wake up later.
The hotel has an excellent location, very near to the airport. The staff are very helpful, the shuttle to the airport is 24 hours and the communication is easy. They were very welcoming and gave us a room upgrade. The room was very comfortable and cozy.

However the evenings were noisy as the lawn was given for functions where music was played. Also needed several reminders to get tea, sugar and whitener saches

Very close to the Airport. We had to stay for 6 hours in cairo with a child, so we booked this Hotel, to get some sleep at a bed. 10$ Taxi from the airport in the middle of the night. This was very good. In the morning there was a shuttle to the airport.
