EgyptIts is not good for honeymooners and it wasn’t couples only there were too much children and families The beach is absolutely rocky and shore But you can use other beaches at the other hotels at macadi resorts but only the beach nothing more The beds sheets & pillows were very very worn out & not clean enough

United KingdomA hotel can be too big. This one certainly is, with 5000 rooms. No good if you have mobility issues or elderly. Not 5 star more like 4 stars. Towels in bathroom grey not white. Stayed in much nicer 5 stars. No robes or shampoos, etc in bathroom. Lack of kettle to make a coffee in morning. Just too many little things that need to be sorted. Booked into a la carte for my birthday to be told we had to pay full price and 2 bottles of water £3😱. When we decided to leave as food was not good the waiter chased us and was rude and aggressive until we signed for them.
The food was good in the all inclusive restaurant.

EgyptThe beach, as it was a rocks beach that we couldn't really swim and the Italian restaurant as the menu was really poor and the food quality as well.
The staff is literally cheerful and amazing! Especially Mr Tarek at the front desk, he's such an amazing,, talented and a very experienced person who knows how to lead his team in a wonderful decent way.

SpainFirst of all I want to highlight that the property has free shuttle displayed on booking website but they said they don`t have that option even if I showed them that is reflected on the website. Secondly the staff is very rude and unprofessional. To give some examples: We had breakfast with a baby and we asked for the baby chair once we arrived and we waited 20 min and the waiter still didn`t get the chair when we asked him for the second time he said yes I will bring it immediately and started cleaning other tables instead bringing us the chair reason why we had to bring it ourselves. The waiters are rude when is coming to the end of the breakfast or lunch and they ask you to leave the table and also taking the plates very fast even if you didn`t finish eating. During my stay I also lost my phone one day and nobody really helped to find it, they just said we don`t have it at the reception and also the bar staff did really search for it. Not to mention that the level of English with some members of the staff is very poor. No wifi in the rooms only in the reception.

GermanyWhat I loved the most was the scenery. The resort looks like a real palace, with crystal clear pools and green exotic landscape beautifully designed. It reminded me of Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. At night it looks magical. The beach is big and they have the best snorkeling place.

Excellent hotel. Great service The room was very spacious, clean, and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious and with many choices; it was a very wide buffet spread. The people in the reception were very helpful, not just on checkin and checkout, but also in giving directions to spots. I would recommend to friends, and will definitely stay again if Im back in Hurghada

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

EgyptCharming as usual My third visit to the chain,Visited grand water world Sun-wing with my family ,and this time is the second to the Makadi palace and let me tell u it’s a Fabulous place,A real palace, At night it’s beautiful and magical,The staff are really nice, How amazing and humble is Mr.John, the Hotel manager, I have never seen that world class attitude and Mr Mohamed helmy,and Mohamed from the front desk team ,Mr john booked the restaurants for us and was always keen to let us chill and enjoy our vacation. Ala carte restaurants are really tasty. They have the best snorkeling spots in Makadi, I can assure you that 👍 In the night, The music is different than any other places (Vintage),Hands up for the DJ. Man 👏 Thank you Mr john and the whole team for the amazing vacation.

EgyptRacist treatment from reception and manager towards Egyptians. Many foreign guests did not follow guidelines regarding corals. They stepped on them with shoes, fed fish bread, and more. This destroys the natural ecosystem. Hotel should do more education and awareness to guests. Food was terrible in most restaurants especially the Dome - main restaurant.
