I'm comparing two 5* hotels in Marsa Alam and this one is not a 5* hotel, it's potentially 3,5. The food at breakfast was sufficient but of low quality and we found hair and stains on the bedsheets and curtains. The beach was small and trying to walk to nearby patches of the beach meant interacting with rude security guards - even when walking on the shore.

Spacious property and room and well maintained grounds. Pleasant staff. Well located in Port Ghalib.

Property feels a little disjointed, it’s spread out and lacks suitable signage. It’s not as clean or modern as you would expect for a regular Radisson Hotel. Breakfast was much better when it was a Sunrise hotel, lunch was ok, the snack bars were very limited but good, we only ate dinner once in the paid for Italian restaurant opposite reception and it was not as good as the restaurants in the port with the same price point.

There is Night Club next door, so this is a bit inconvenient if you like it calm. I got a great Upgrade to a Suite, so they meant well. I complaint to the GM at Check-Out they invited me to my Roomservice Bill and a Lunch at the A la Carte Restaurant, which was amazing.

One of the staff at the excursions desk pushed over priced tours and kept telling me we were getting a great deal. It didn't feel like he had our best interest at heart. On the other hand, Aishe was very honest and found solutions for us when our flight was cancelled.

The buffet breakfast had a ton of variety. The layout of the property was beautiful and ensured quiet rooms. They gave us a free room upgrade which meant extra room and a separate bedroom - very appreciated. The kids loved the water slides and pool. The snorkeling trip was super fun - we saw many giant sea turtles.

premium suites overlooking marina had loud music playing from 6pm to midnight from the below bars and having to walk through the market to get to the room constantly being hassled by sellers . food was terrible ended up eating outside the resort.

Nice quiet gardens with small pools for each building and a big pool with music and activities on the other side of the road. 3 min walk to a beach with nice beds and parasols. Lunch and drinks available on the beach as well. Staff is extremely helpfull and everything is clean and well taken care of. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect location & extremely family friendly. The hotel staff are fantastic & so helpful. The children loved the food & the water park. Our junior suite was very spacious & we could walk directly from our room to the pool. We were driven to & from the beach even though it is a 5 minute walk away. The hotel owns the best part of the beach & we were waited on throughout the day. The house reef is truly spectacular, the beach area is so clean & the life guards ensure the reef is well respected by visitors. I have never seen so many people join in with yoga, fitness classes & volleyball on the beach. There is even a bowling alley! I particularly like the clientel this hotel attracts. This is definitely one of the best family holidays we ever had.

Old hotel and old equipment in the room. All beverages are Egyptian and weren't so good at least for my taste. Cutlery, glasses and cups need updating.

The room was quiet, very big and the bed was comfortable. I also liked the balcony with the pool view. Wi-fi is available everywhere, in the room, at the water park as well as the beach. Wide variety of food and sweets for every taste. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice events every night.

Outdated furniture in the rooms, beds placed underneath air conditioning (so either you turn it off and have to face the heat, or turn it on and freeze), we had the all-in option and were really disappointed by the lack of variety in the menu (no Egyptian dishes apart on oriental night) and the quality of the beverages. Proximity of the Red Club which offers parties twice a week until 3am is to be taken into consideration when you have a room just above it. No information was provided to us about the animation team's activities upon check-in, but we understand they had only just started.

The hotel is modern, well maintained and clean. We got upgraded to a marina-view double room (which was huge), and were informed about the bar underneath it playing music until 12 pm every night - which was no issue for us. Staff was very helpful throughout our stay (complementary shower room arranged at check-out) and we also enjoyed the paying facilities provided: hammam, beautician & massages. The beach is a short walk away, comfy sunbeds and clean towels provided, the bathing area is a bit restrictive because of the corals and many people are snorkelling at the same spot - felt like in a jam at times but the fishes you see and the underwater world all make it worthwhile. It was a bit quieter at the pool area, where we enjoyed some actives offered by the animation team of the hotel.

Our room overlooked a bar on the marina and there was very loud music until almost midnight. So loud it felt like it was in our room. Sound proofing needs an upgrade. Breakfast was ok but 3 of the 4 coffee machines weren't working.

Despite the good quality for the food and the effort done to make it taste good as it should, the drinks are far lagging behind, all juices despite being artificial, lack any proper taste for what it should taste like for a specific juice, even the cola, all need special attention The aqua park has limited varieties for the slides with remarks on 2 of the 5 slides there, the swirly one doesn’t have the slope required to gain enough momentum to keep going on it, ppl hault during their descent. The green slide to the opposite sides needs maintenance regarding the weldings between its parts as its a bit bumpy and isn’t comfortable to ride

Location was nice, the beach has a tiny sandy breach that gives an access to the open water and a beautiful view for the corals. The room was spacious, furniture was ok, furniture in lots of hotels might need renovations but not this one, had a misunderstanding at my arrival regarding the type of room an number and type of beds that was conveniently solved. Mr. Ibrahim and Mr. Mahmoud were very helpful at fixing these issues, in addition granted an early access to the room which I’m thankful to. The food was tasty, and this means a lot, u may have a wide variety of food but with a low grade quality, the food offered at the main restaurant and at the pool/beach snacks were all tasty, I liked the chef for the effort done to present food. Aqua park is fun, life guards are very attentive
