While we did not have any major issues at all, we can still point out a few areas which need the manager's attention. We were a family of five members including one child and a teenager. The TV in one of our bed did not work during our entire stay despite being flagged. It could have been fixed but I could not be bothered to chase and the great wi-fi reception in our bedroom meant we did not need a TV. Note, however, that the wi-fi reception while excellent at times can also be very poor depending on your location in the hotel. Still, we were able to watch streamed movies where the connection was good. General asethetic and maintainance requires some work. This can easily be fixed and I hope the manager will make the necessary improvements. Cleanliness is one area of focus. Again, this is something which can easily be solved. Bear this in mind if you decide to sit on the beach's sofas. 

Overall, our stay was good with some excellent aspects. This is not the greatest hotel in terms of aesthetics. However, it is if what you are looking for is a friendly and safe environment, close to all amenities, the beach and good value for money. The manager of the hotel, Abdul, is the main strength of the hotel. He has been accommodating for us from begining to end. A very resourceful person, Abdul has organised our trips. The food offered was good, diverse, served in generous portions and prepared at short notice - even late in the evening or early morning. The hotel is quiet and the mattresses were comfortable. The beach is literally across the road. However, it is not a sandy beach. Great for divers though with a beautiful coral reef - you would have to start swimming from the shore. Avoid windy days and do not snorkel too far from the shore as the current can easily take you a 100m from your starting point. It will all depend on your level of diving/snorkelling expertise. So, a good stay. We would go back and we would recommend the place if you are on a budget, a diver, a group of friends or a small family looking to be close to the town center but away from all the noise in a safe environment, in a hotel lead by a very friendly and helpful manager.

The rooms could have been more clean and wouldn't mind a little more maintenance. The bathroom and the showers could use a little upgrade. also the TV and furniture could be upgraded (it's pretty old).

I really enjoyed the food there. It was great, the view on the beach was awesome. I would also like to comment on the staff, they were very friendly and helpful 24/7. The staff used to get out of their way to help you even after working hour (for example, they special opened the kitchen at 2:00 am to prepare a meal for me.

The staff weren't always available and they took my passport from me when I arrived late at 230am in the morning.. and they didn't give it back to me even when I checked out so ended up missing 2 flights as no one was on reception when I checked out.. and they should NEVER take someone's passport (ONLY photocopy)

The room had access to 2 balconies and an ocean view and was spacious and lovely with screens so I could keep the door open for sea breeze as I don't like air con.. the breakfast was also really good with beans, falafel, tahini, salad, and one day they even gave me fruit..

If they ask for my advice I'd say start immediately with improving the beach area; -Have a staff member there at all times. -Try to prevent inconsiderate tourists from throwing trash on the ground, by perhaps adding more garbage cans to all the seating areas. (There are a lot of trash cans but some people they still throw stuff on the ground I don't get this!) -Work hard on improving the quality of the food, it was OK but could be better, especially because there aren't other restaurants nearby, so the staff could make a lot of profit in that area, simply serving good food to people relaxing by the beach. When you serve me good food I will not think about the city. -Educate first-timers on what it's like to swim in the rocky shore, I saw a couple of people going in the rocky shore without swimming shoes, only to regret it a few minutes later, going back out with a few scratches on their feet. A simple sign of "put on swimming shoes" or "beware of sharp rocks" will do. A few years ago (in a different place) I had a few scratches like that when I was 40~ meters in the sea away from the shore and believe me it is not a good experience lol. Pricing: Pricing per night feels just a little bit higher than usual for the target group intended for that time of year (which is usually people just looking to relax with minimal requests. For example, the TV was down, I didn't care at all lol). Considering the competition out there for people looking to just relax, maybe try reducing the price range a little bit, as little as 10% could go a long way. Whoever picks that location is looking to basically relax by the sea, and will probably spend all their money ordering a lot of stuff from the hotel like food and beverages anyways. They'll spend all their money at the hotel anyways so make them a good offer on the nights. I was very happy with my stay but these are just a few recommendations.

Amazing location. The mountain behind you and the sea in front of you. Great place for relaxing and meditation. Location is also within walking distance of the city (15 minutes). Hotel has a very nice beach seating area, pretty much the best one within 1 KM either way. My room was absolutely fantastic, they gave me a room on the second floor with a big terrace in front of it. (Terrace shared with other rooms of course) The room was spacious and clean, bathroom also was nice and clean (didn't have towels though but I always bring mine anyways). Comfy bed and furniture. The balcony sliding door opens to a beautiful terrace with a gorgeous view, you could literally just open up the sliding door to the terrace and sit there, enjoy a cup of coffee and do nothing more. In terms of appliances, room has a good functional AC, a kettle, and a mini fridge, couldn't get the TV to work though probably because of the wind but I don't care about that. The staff are also all very nice. I'll definitely check out the place again next time I'm in Dahab.

Well, for Dahab, the place is good because in Dahab they depend on the primitive nature… The hotel was good and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was great. Sitting at night by the sea was one of the most wonderful times in Dahab The place is characterized by complete calm and brings comfort to the soul. Special thanks to Mahmoud, one of the most wonderful and most helpful people and Chef Ibrahim Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the second chef they are all friendly. Will I come back aging ? yes
