I love all of it! The location is perfect, the house is just beautiful with all the nice colors and paintings and amazing views to the Nile. I stayed in a very comfortable and big room with a small balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpful specially Aya and Tamer. And Tamer even speaks a bit of Spanish which is not common in Egypt. The breakfast is amazing as well as the Egyptian food options available if you want to have lunch or dinner. It is very nice to walk around the streets of the Nubian village and there is a local market very close where you can find lots of nice things.

You need to be aware that it is 1 hour drive from Aswan. Trains, buses, tours, money exchange, big markets, etc - all of this is in Aswan. Getting between Hotel and Aswan is not easy early morning or late evening.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Rooms are specious with good hot water shower. They have big terrace overlooking the river, where they also serve super delicious breakfast. Personnel is nice and helpful. Bazar, shops and restaurants are available nearby. Overall, Nubian village has its authentic vibe, making staying there quite unique experience.

This property was a good place to stay . The staff were very friendly and the food was great,fresh,delicious,and out of this world.You could also play with a small tortoise and feed it.My kids were not leaving they wanted to stay for forever.it was amazing.

Our stay was fantastic, starting by the kindness of all the employees! Tamer and Mimi were fantastic and very warm welcoming they made us feel that we were at home! They helped us get a taxi to Luxor when we had an issue with our transportation! The food is amazing, big portions and home made, and everyday on the breakfast you have different traditional plates. The location is good near to the market and the boats stop. They really have a nice roof top where you can enjoy the view to the Nile. The rooms have a lot of space and they are clean ! Nubian people are amazing and definitely we will be back to this place one day !

They are the absolute best! I am so glad we visited, albeit very briefly. Our room was upgraded, the food was excellent, and everyone at the property was very friendly. We were so lucky to enjoy a live Nubian music show as well. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and he received a gift 🥹 their plan was to have a surprise party for him but we took long walking around the village. End your search here & book this amazing place!

Everything was more than perfect

We recently stayed at OnatyKa and it was an absolute delight! The vibes at this place are so amazing, creating an atmosphere that truly feels like a slice of paradise. Nothing actually!

Amazing place and great hosts! Aya was great at communication and organized our trips to Abu Simbel and so on.. They even upgraded our room to Nile view and were always happy to help with a smiling face! Tamer was so kind and friendly and went out of way to help us. We are a family of 4 and all vegetarians, The food at the restaurant was simply amazing! We ended up staying 1 extra night! Cannot recommend enough!

Bathroom could be renovated.

It is a very nice hotel in Nubian village. Facalities, especially bathroom, are of Egyptian style (e.g no separate place for shower, just a small area by the wc), so don't expect European standards. But it is nice and clean, with AC. View at the Nile is very impressive. Breakfast big and tasty. However, the best feature are employees - one man at the restaurant, who was very welcoming and helpful, which is a rarity in the area, and a lady, owner or manager, Aya, who was very helpful too, ordering us a taxi for 4am and preparing breakfast boxes. Thank you!

Honestly, I had no issues here.

The gentlemen working there were so kind and friendly. Tamer was the main manager there and he was the best character you could have. The location was perfect, right on the water close to swimming wholes and small shops.

Please upgrade the master room's bathroom. It is small and stinky. Also, please take the time to clean the outside of the property, including stairs.

The room didn't have any facility for calling room service. We have to call every time we need something. We had to discover everything by ourselves. The bathroom was small and had nail coming out of the door, it poked my hand badly and I had to take a tetanus shot. The pot was broken.

The staff were polite and ready to help with everything they can. The breakfast served was sumptuous. They even packed the breakfast the night before when we planned to start early. Famous place in the night too as most of the people from nearby hotels come for dinner here. The shops nearby offer great great deals in local items(of course you need to negotiate a lot, which is common everywhere in Egypt). The views in the morning are refreshing and away from the city hustle. Overall, if you want an authentic Nubian experience, this place is awesome.
