Nearly no wifi all over porto and lagoon water is not the best for swimming.

Hospitality from all staff members, food is outstanding both breakfast and dinner buffets, a-lot of facilities around and finally thanks Mr Ziad for suite upgrade.

-No hot water in one of the two room - cars are not allowed to go on the ramp in front of the hotel entrance despite paying for valet which makes it very difficult for the staff to upload and offload guests car

-Staff is well trained , friendly , responsive and very accommodative - rooms are clean and spacious - check in and check out were smooth despite very busy weekend time

The facilities and the staff were very polite and helpful, however for a five star hotel I expected the rooms to be more luxurious for the price paid . The first room i got which was 1124 needs maintenance as it was very humid and wet in the room and we changed the room and they upgraded us . The furniture was dirty which was very disappointing. Some facilities need more care and maintenance like the spa

We booked 2 family rooms for 8 ADULTS. Each room should fit 4 adults.Each family room had a queen bed for 2 adults and a bunk bed for the other 2. The bunk bed was so small , can not fit adults and was so uncomfortable to fit an adult.we had to order an additional bed for a fee. Also. We could not enjoy our lunch at a restaurant by the beach because of the huge amount of flies by the beach..

Need to pay attention to cleaning the rooms and facilities. Rooms closer to the Restaurants were full of cooking smell. Price was too high for the level of facilities.

the outbreak of flies is a serious problem that can lead to serious health hazards. the magnitude of the problem is huge you can’t stay poolside for more than 10 minutes as the flies are going to bother you you , you can’t eat cold food items outside as the flies are going to feast on them. NB I was promised that they are going to hire professionals to take care of it.

The place is magical, well secured, recently renovated and it has all the facilities to make it fit the definition of a family friendly location. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home , to be honest I haven’t seen that level of cooperation anywhere else in Egypt. The presence of coffee shops, supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants in abundance is a factor that makes the stay here unique. The gym is clean and well equipped for a hotel fitness center and I personally think a 150 LE fee is a very fair price. the family rooms have microwaves ,a big fridge , two new well functioning A.Cs and new comfortable beds. The breakfast and lunch buffets have a variety of food that fit most tastes and the restaurant staff are super cooperative.

I recently stayed there and had an excellent experience. The staff were friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out, and the room was clean and comfortable. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the hotel , including the amenities provided. The hotel's location was also ideal. I also enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which had a great selection of delicious food. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Porto Marina Resort and Spa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

There is no transportation from porto marina to any other place at marina village such as another beach at the open sea, where the porto marina beach was on the lake

Drinks for dinner are not included in the price. Loud minifridge in the room, probably quite old. Desserts should be of better quality.

The ramps for prams/wheelchairs have no grip on them, you need to be extra careful if you are using them, they are so slippy! Breakfast was ok, the only coffee available was sachets of Nescafé. For a 5 star hotel you would expect a coffee machine in the breakfast area. When we asked for Americanos they did prepare it for us which was great. The entrance to the beach wasn’t very clean, my husband picked up sharp objects off the ground to stop people hurting themselves. The little play area for kids is not free even though reception team informed us it was included.

There was no acceess to the seafront, insite of it saying there was on both google maps and adverts! The marina beach area was closed at 6pm for no reason! Waterslides didnt open all day on the friday inspite of waiting over 2 hrs. Invalid excuses as everyone gave conflicting reasons. Cleanliness of the rooms could be better especially balcony (allocate recently cleaned rooms rather than those assumed cleaned a few weeks/months back). There is subtantial renovation works across the resort (hopefully during the low season only).

The complex seemingly had all you require for a good seaside visit, but all wasn't what it seemed. Check-in staff were courteous, restaurant staff were excellent. Breakfast and dinner had a good selection but monotonous. Good marina bay area with sand and sunbeds/umbrellas safe for kids.
