Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI booked an airport shuttle days in advance, but they cancelled last minutes while I was on the plane I landed at 10 pm in an unknown country with no Internet, single woman! Hopefully, I got to the hotel with the help of other travellers. The Radisson basically cancel the shuttle because they don't come to Spinx airport....and even tough they said yes, and I was supposed to pay $25, which is an important amount, they preferred to just let me down at the airport at night, I waited for the driver until 11pm (my flight landed at 9pm). I am furious because for the Radisson standards, it shouldn't have happened. The Uber cost me $5, and the route was 40 min. to the hotel, Radisson could have made it for $25....arrived at the hotel, no apologies or whatever. The quality of the breakfast is so bad, obviously they want to save money, but the issue is that, there are too much food options and everything is just not good, better to have less, but better quality.
Very helpful staff, bartender making good cocktails, and the set-up of the bar that is open 24/7. If you are not confident booking a taxi, the hotel has a taxidriver that you can hire. There is also a Spa, and prices are a little bit expensive for the country. There is also a money exchange bureau.

Saudi ArabiaQuite a few issues, thermostat for air conditioner was not working, which kept the room colder than comfort, toilet facilties were old, bathbtub drain has rust visible while wood scrapping was visible on wooden items in bathroom. Hotel is right on a busy road and not much space for vehicles to wait for you if needed.
Average facility, beds were comfortable and gym is also good. Breakfast didn't have much options but was ok.

A wonderful stay. Check-in in less than ten minutes and before the official time. We arrived at about one o’clock in the afternoon. He made a free upgrade for the reservation from a triple room to a suite. Mr. A'laa from the reception was very friendly.. The restaurant at breakfast time is very organized. Everyone was at the service.. Mr. Khaled.. Mr. Abdel Rahman and the organization of the session in wonderful places in the restaurant.. the cheerful Tuta. Muhammad Haiba, who works in silence. Don't forget the fruit platter from Basbousa. The swimming pool on the ninth floor is beautiful and quiet, with excellent service from Mr. Mohamed Nasser. The hotel's location is very close to the airport. 5 minutes. And close to New Cairo. Less than 20 minutes

LaosStaff were pretty indifferent about the guests, the manager was yelling at the receptionist in front of me. The toilet wasn’t flushed when I came in the room. It was used shower cap in the box as well. The shower was a disaster - water couldn’t stay the same temperature, it became super hot or cold every minute, without my participation. Couldn’t enjoy it. Very strong smell of cigarettes in the corridor. The next room was very noisy (music and loud talking all night). The restaurants have inconvenient working hours.
Big and nice room, comfortable bed, surprisingly a good view from the window. Fruits as a complement. Quiet area, many shops and cafe around. Close to the airport. Early check-in.

GermanyAs usual for Egypt, no orange juice was available at the breakfast buffet. And also, the staff in the restaurant during breakfast didn't seem to be very motivated. They definitely were not customer oriented. Actually these to features I have only found in two Egyptian hotels in Egypt so far, one was the Old Cataract in Assuan and the other in Alexandria (unfortunately I don't remember the name on the Corniche. They both got a rating of 10.
I chose Radisson because it's so close to the airport (I arrived late and didn't want to drive on at night). The interior design (lobby with "open" patio, rooms etc.) was very attractive and fully correspond with the 4-5 star rating of the hotel. The selection of dishes for breakfast was also very good (except for the missing orange juice). Upon check out with the quality manager (by chance), she was really interested in learning what they could do to improve in my rating (I said I would give an 8 of 10).
