Perfect trip to Dahab. Was super fortunate to run into a lot of cool people that all shared a passion for diving and spending more time in the sea than on land. I know a trip back here in the near future . Highly recommend mucking in their daily activities that keep you busy.

They've definitely got the family vibe going on here which makes it easy to meet other travellers. I stayed both in the dorms and the private room. Dorms were comfy and you have a locker outside. Hot water if you need it. Private room was spacious and the bed was big and comfy, you also get to use the washing machine for free which is a bonus! Breakfast was free as well.. lots of freebies in this place!! A little bit of modernisation is the only thing thats missing. The doors and windows are quite old so can be a little loud but not exactly life ruining! But for the price you pay 100% worth it. Really enjoyed it here, lots of space to relax and to work/do yoga or a bodyweight workout If your someone wanting to meet people this is the place They organise daily activities and all the staff are awesome. Thanks team!

well it's communal bathrooms and air-conditioned rooms, but that's just how it is. everything was at least good.

cute little oasis of comfortable spaces, nice people and cool activities =) A huge lot of positive energy there; they got a good concept and the staff stands behind it. special thanks go out to Karim the event manager who not only organized very nice trips and events, but also helped me book everything, from a massage over transport to even another accommodation!

I had an incredible stay at Rafiki! I instantly felt at home at the hostel. The staff, with their warm smiles and helpful attitudes, added to the inviting atmosphere. Plus, what truly sets this place apart are the engaging activities they offer. I can't recommend Rafiki enough for travelers seeking not only comfort but also a vibrant and sociable environment!

Their activities are just absolutely great. You get into a WhatsApp group and just sign up for one activity after the other and before you know it, your time in Dahab is over. Rooms are good and clean and the stuff is very helpful. So great experience🥰

Most of the guests in the dorms were teenagers, so I’m happy I stayed in a private room. But the activities were not fitting my profile (34 yo), majority of kids seemed happy though.

I lived in a private room and that was good for my solo traveling. Dahab is very safe so regardless the location (not center center) it was fine and I believe it benefited in costs. Air conditioning in the room. The hostel has a WhatsApp chat for those who stay in and you can join other guests for activity or organize yours.

i didn't like the fact that i had to walk a bit into a side street - wish i was on the main road. coupled with no ability to buy even water or coffee in the hotel - have to walk to supermarket. bigger hotel sign needed to find it more easily, but many taxi drivers already know it. i didn't like the family of cats right outside my door, but they were clean and cute and joyful for others - i just don't like animals in my room, and the cats kept trying to enter like they're used to it. i was excited about the pool but it was so small it felt too intimate with others in it. if they added a restaurant or even a vending machine, it would be profitable i'm sure with such an active hostel community.

love the community feel, the variety of places to hang out and meet others in the hostel. i am mostly introverted, but there were NO awkwardness, intrusiveness, or sleazy single guys. everybody is respectful and friendly, and minding their own business at the same time. staff are plentiful, responsive, and super helpful, every one of them. nobody begged me to leave a good review. nobody bothered me in any way. it was amazing! the housekeeping is top notch, bathrooms are clean, and those ladies are so helpful. the breakfast was great, but quick to finish.

Drinking water was placed only in the main building, so we had to go through reception to refill our bottles instead of doing so in the apartment.

No mountain view from the room, as per mentioned in the listing :( Location wise, it's not centrally located or next to the seaside, but Dahab is a small village, so everything is at walking distance

The room was a double room with a shared bathroom and kitchen. It was very clean and with a good AC. It also had a little balcony. The hostel has different buildings with many facilities, and the staff is really friendly and takes the effort to take care of everyone.

I have stayed at many hostels around the world and this is definitely one of the best. Staff are really friendly and will go the extra mile to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Shout out to DJ Naz...life isnt the same without afrobeats at breakfast. I stayed in a 4 person dorm. The room was small but had a fridge and bathroom inside which was great. The bed was really comfy and had privacy curtains, personal powerpoint and reading lamp. Aircon in the rooms was great. The hostel is big but spread out over many buildings, each with their own rooftop for hanging out with amazing views. This means the hostel never feels crowded. The pool area is great for cooling down during the day and has a large kitchen and common area attached. Breakfast was good and varied. Activities happening all day every day so you will never be bored or feel lonely. I can't recommend this place enough.
