Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

This is the most amazing place to stay. I recommend everyone to go there. You really must. It is managed and run by the most amazing helpful staff. Shareen and her team are wonderful. The camp is beautiful, calming and natural, in the most amazing setting on the waters edge...literally. We were even lucky enough to see a turtle swimming close to us. The food was beautifully cooked everyday. It suits all ages. We are family of 4, ranging from 12 to 56, and it suited all of us. There are no faults. We didn't want to leave. I hope that one day we will return...its just a long way from UK.

United KingdomI had a great stay for 2 nights at SakrahTah for what was one of the highlights of my trip. Shary and her staff were incredibly welcoming and built a great community atmosphere amongst the camp. The food was fantastic and I will definitely be recommending the place to others.

IsraelThe camp is located on a private beach, without other camps near by. It is close to the Israeli border and perfect for spending a night before moving on to the rest of Sinai like we did, or staying there for the whole visit. The entrance to the water is very comfortable, the camp is well maintained and the staff very helpfull

IsraelThe only thing that wasn't fun at the camp was the onslaught of mosquitoes. The mosquito nets help at night, but otherwise sitting outside after dark is a challenge, even with bug deterrent, that sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.
The atmosphere in this camp is friendly and hospitable. The owners do everything they can to make you feel welcome and relaxed. The food is home-cooked, fresh and delicious, mostly traditional Egyptian fare. The facilities are squeaky clean. The location is idyllic and quiet and you have an enormous slice of beach just for yourself. A nice feature of a small camp is that everyone sits together and chats, at meals and outside of them, but you can also sit at one of the cute reed-covered places or huts with a book or just looking at the sea. This place is ideal for kids as the water doesn't run deep. You can snorkel or just swim, although there isn't much of a reef. A little down the beach there's a place for good snorkeling or diving, or you can also get a boat from Taba to do that.

IsraelMy recent 4-night stay at Sakartha Camp was absolutely amazing! The staff at the camp went above and beyond to ensure that all of our needs were taken care of, from arranging transportation and getting us a local SIM card to providing delicious meals (made by the one and only Basant!) and offering helpful information about the area. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Sakratha Camp and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway :)

IsraelThis is the best kept secret in Sinai!!! We had the most wonderful time just doing NOTHING, exactly as we planned! Ahmed, Basant, Shereen and all the time make an incredible effort to me you feel comfortable and at home! The camp is clean, the toilets and showers are very clean, the bungalows are comfortable, the beach is clean and the food is very tasty and fresh. We had privacy, it doesn't feel crowdy, it doesn't have loud music, it was more than perfect to relax. This is a place we highly recommend if you are looking for a quite Sinai experience, we will be back for sure!!!!

IsraelThis is an eco-friendly camp. This means that the shower has low water pressure and water is not being heated. These were not problems for me, but might be an issue for others: visited end of October, shower water was hot enough and low pressure means that the shower took a bit longer.
Solitude, silence and sandy beach - not a place to party One of the most friendly and welcoming staff I ever met. Rich and tasty breakfast and dinner. The rooms/bathroom/toilets are very clean. Located 30min drive from the Taba border crossing. Good value for money.
