Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. Location was great in the hub of Naama Bay, about 3-5 minutes to the beach and markets and some really fantastic restaurants around. Our suite was lovely, very spacious and comfortable! Would definitely book the place again if I’m ever in Sharm el sheikh! Ahmed was very friendly and helpful

CroatiaYou need do know about the CLUB. The place is a NIGHT club. On Thursday and Sunday nights there will be several hundred people descending into this entertainment complex to dance, shout and scream until 3 or 4am and you need to know that BEFORE YOU BOOK. We did NOT know. We learned the hard way the very first night ( we landed on a Thursday). Then there is the fact they hardly communicate anything to you. We did not know we had breakfast included in the stay. We did not know we had the beach card is also included. In my view they should hire receptionists with better communication skills, as the ones we dealt with simply do not tell you about all the advantages that El Pacha actually does offer. The other disadvantage is the extras - they charge you 10 or 20 dollars extra to use their pool. At least those were the signs we saw hanging there and there was certainly not a single person seen in said pool. Then again - who cares about the pool when the beach is 3 minutes away.
The location within the entire Naama Bay is excellent. You are in the middle of everything and 2-3 minutes' walk to the beach. The property has its own restaurant and bar and you can order all kinds of things late into the night. Very convenient. The service level in the bar and restaurant is much above the surrounding places, almost Western country level, so a very nice departure from the Egyptian norm. They also have a deal with one of the nearby private beach operators so you can ask for a beach card and get free access to that beach, only 2-3 minutes walk from El Pacha.

TurkeyThe beach they use is ok not the best and the stuff working there are very rude, they try to sell their drinks and stuff and dont allow anything from outside. But they didnt say anything to the girls who brought their outside drinks. I should be able to go and relax there with my own drinks and food or whatever. You should warn them about their behaviors because next time i will not go there.
Second time we stayed there and it was great for a good price also.

Egyptthe only thing bothered me that the hotel doesn’t have specific place for parties except the open area among the rooms which was very noise and annoying during the weekdays one Monday and Thursday so we couldn’t sleep until 4 am after the dj stopped playing music
the property was not fancy but very clean and rooms and suits very clean and it has everything we need .. location is perfect as it’s in the center of everything and few steps from the beach

EgyptStaying here is great! I have stayed in Pacha suites a few times now as the location is perfect. the rooms are basic but that's all you need, as its not like you stay in your room all day. using the beach all day is just what you need. Being in the club is super convenient and is comfortable and calm in its atmosphere when not a club night (Thursday and Sundays) The staff are fantastic and help you whenever you need anything. See you soon Pacha! I will be staying there again on this long weekend :-)

United KingdomDespite requesting a taxi, one was not waiting for me when I arrived at the airport. It was a last minute request but they still had 5 hours to arrange one or at least message me to say it wasn't possible. Breakfast was pretty poor. The Bus Stop bar attached to the hotel charged me 90 Egyptian for a latte.
Bed was comfy. Room was clean and spacious. I scored the hotel higher due to its efforts to be green.

TurkeyThe first night we arrived, it was like the room had not been cleaned. The floors were very, very dirty, the sheets were full of other people's hair. There was even fresh lipstick marks on the pillowcase. On the 2nd day the sheets etc. were changed but the floors were so dirty that we had to walk around with shoes.
The staff and the location of the hotel were excellent. Also the interior design of the hotel and pool was very nice. There is a free beach entrance and you can reach the beach in just 4-5 minutes. Last but not least, the breakfast was more than excellent, you can't even find breakfast like this outside unless you are very lucky.

EgyptI am a massive fan of Pacha so to stay in the property was cool. The club looks so mediterranean in the day, a real contrast to the party vibe. Its calm and not a noisy venue only on Thursdays house night and Sunday Swagga. Other than that its cheap to stay and really comfortable. Had my breakfast brought to my room every day. For a short 3 night break for partying it was amazing.
