Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Stunning Resort set right on the banks of the Nile with beautiful views & incredible sunsets. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to an Executive Nile View Room which was spacious, well appointed & newly renovated with a beautiful outlook. The pool area was quiet, no issues getting a plush sunlounger & the service was impeccable - the staff are a real credit to Steigenberger. I couldn't recommend more highly & only wish our stay was longer.

United KingdomSo hard to think of one. Just a minor thing but the shower gel needed refilling. It was empty after just 3 squeeze and the bottles are hard to squeeze too. But it’s nothing. Just a note to make sure they are filled up.

EgyptProperty was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and offered a good selection. Bed was very comfortable after long, hot days exploring Luxor. We ordered room service and ate at Nico’s. Both were more than we could eat and tasty! I highly recommend the Steigenberger Resort in Luxor.

The grounds and pools are just lovely & you’re right on the banks of the Nile so it’s really special. I stayed in a Bungalow with a Nile view and it was fantastic. I have stayed in Nile Palace as well and I much preferred Achti. All the staff that I encountered were very polite and helpful.

United KingdomAs a family of 3 we have had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was so nice that we have extended our stay from originally planned 3 to 6 days! What makes a huge difference in comparance between the places of stay is the people providing services. Here, everyone was well mannered, things were professionally organised, from the cleaning of the rooms, through the dining area, with the way reception desk staf works and the high quality of entertainment the whole place makes a bold statement of their goals - providing travellers with a trully special form of hospitality. No hassle, no nonsense. Everyone seemed to be very attentive and ready to help. We have met many wonderful people who work here and they seemed to be proud for what they are being part of.. People working in the dining area where we could enjoy every morning a wonderful, high quality, healthy breakfasts are very classy with the way they approach everyone that stays here. We have met very bright, well mannered, very balanced professional, Mr. Mustafa El Ganzory who had provided us with great advises. He treated us with an utmost respect during the conversations, the same way you would behave towards your best friend. He made us impressed when he addmited that he loves his job simply because everything he was saying and doing was the exact confirmation of this statement. It is great to meet people who feel proud and happy with the work they do which than translates to an amazing experience with them. Special thanks to the general manager that we had a chance to meet for what he's responsible for as a whole at the Steigenberger Resort Achti. The quality of entertaiment was amazing. Very classy dancers that inspired our family and other guests to join them at the scene and enjoy the moments. Lovely staff working at the Bedouin tents. Great service providers at the pool, bar and restaurants. Those that helped us with the loundry.

AustraliaSome facilities require repair or maintenance, like the lagoon pool that was out of over. Thankfully the two other pools were functional and a pleasure to enjoy.
Staff were extremely friendly and personable. Makmoud the concierge in particular was always saying hello to me in the hotel. The breakfast manager was always going out of his way to get me a coffee. The breakfast buffet is quite good. Facilities are generally excellent. There is a dock that you can directly use to access felucca rides. Sunset and dust near the Nile section of the hotel is really a beautiful place to spend sometime. Unlike many hotels in Egypt the staff aren't pushing for tips, which is a positive experience in Egypt.
