Steigenberger Alcazar Sharm is a haven on earth. From the moment you arrive at the hotel until the moment you leave, you will feel as if everything has been done just for you. just let me express how outstanding the stay was in the Steigenberger Hotel Alcazar! My wife and I and our both kids (9 and 7y) were so excited about ALL what the hotel offered so nicely. Unbelievable great experience! The food of the main restaurant breakfast, lunch, dinner was delicious, extensive and fresh every day with great and so friendly service and support from the serving and cooking staff,-outstanding. In particular, Amoura served extraordinary delicious food. The service was superior without any exception for food serving, entertaining, sports and more. We cannot even emphasise this enough how kids are treated in your hotel, which is totally amazing and outstanding: the kids program every day, the kids animation, for kids show every night, the kids club and how much caring the staff was with the kids in general. We never experienced so much sweetness and caring in a hotel just for kids. Our kids were in the 7th heaven at your hotel. Last but not least, the (nearly) private pool we had with the direct pool access in our superior room was absolutely perfect experience. We definitely will come back! Outstanding location and hotel!

A perfect vacation resort by all means.

To his is one special place in Sharm. The staff is incredibly nice and the service is far and beyond..the location is spectacular with range of available activities. Given the property is big and the number of guests can be high, we felt that the staff was not responsive on some occasions.

Everything about the property, including pool / beach areas and the meal selection was very nice.

The hotel was faultless. The only annoyance was the practice of guests reserving sun loungers (towels down super early in the mornings), and then not occupying them. Despite signage to the contrary, this meant that poolside space was a rarity. A minor blip in an otherwise perfect stay.

Super staff who all went out of their way to be polite and helpful. Spotlessly clean at all times and the food was very good.

Honestly...everything was perfect - the food was exceptional, both at the main (buffet) restaurant, and at the A La Carte places we visited (Lebanese, Asian and Seafood). The whole resort is beautifully maintained - the pools are large and varied, the rooms immaculate and the grounds are wonderful. The staff are exceptionally friendly and will do anything they can to enhance your experience. A wander down the private jetty is highly recommended - even if you don't want to go snorkelling at the end, you can see a great range of wildlife over the side of the jetty itself just by looking down into the sea.

The only thing disproportionate to the overall high level of the prices in the spa. A massage would cost around 110 USD which was not inviting. I'm sure they would have twice as many customers if the prices were decreased. There is not much high-quality shopping around, but you can all the necessities for sure.

Buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners are amazing and very tasty. Local drinks were great as well. I loved the AlCarte restaurants, especially Teppanyaki and Lebanese. As well there is QR code for all the information about the menus, hotel facilities, entertainment program, bookings etc which i appreciated. As a foodie, I loved the variety and hot food options along with the fresh produce. Two of the big pools were heated. The service is impeccable, attentive, non-invasive, trustworthy, and kind. I felt amazing. The room was spacious, with an amazing bed and two types of pillows, and bedding was very good quality. Everything in the hotel is well taken care of, is quite new and fresh. The grounds are kept perfectly. Loved the shows ( actually pretty great dancers), and yoga, the dance training, so the entertainment was great too. The gym was pretty well-equipped and clean. There is nothing that bothered me. Sunglasses clearing and ice cream tours were a nice touch during the sunbathing. The beach was nice, but the swimming and snorkeling you have to walk- which is nice. You will do the steps =) There are nice big and colorful fish in the sea. I loved it and it is also a great hotel for families with little kids.

Staff are sometimes a little too pushy with trying to get your attention. We couldn't relax by the pool for more than 10 minutes without someone either trying to sell us a photography session or asking us to rate the hotel on booking.com. Even the cleaners kept knocking on our door asking us if we needed anything, even when we had the 'do not disturb' sign up.

Good pool and location. Very clean and lots of restaurants and bars to choose from.
