The view from my room was magnificent. I liked it. The hotel room was great. It was comfortable to stay for 2 nights. The staff was very kind and hospitable as well. I really liked the hot air balloon and the valley of the kings tours provided by the Nasco Tours within the hotel. A big kudos to our tour guide Rami! I learned a great deal about the Egyptian history. Last but not least, the boat ride led by Arafat in the afternoon was amazing. We really enjoyed it.

Businesses everywhere in Egypt, including the Steigenburger, have begun to add service at 12% to all bills but the hotel staff and everywhere we went, still look for personal tips. I personally prefer to do either/or not both. However, when we consider the exchange rate £1 / 50 EGP giving extra tips was not really a big issue in our total costs.

Excellent hotel with a great location & staff with a great attitude. plus the awesome sights of Ancient Egypt within 15 mins drive. Excellent sized room with balcony and wonderful view of the Nile (Executive Room Front Nile View). We especially likely the food a the Lebanese Restaurant, especially our Lamb Shank flambé special which was amazing. Staff very friendly and willing to help: notably our room cleaner with his towel art (crocodiles, monkeys & elephants) & clean room and the customer liaison help for extra wifi support for a business zoom.

-The breakfast is varied and really tasty -The Lebanese and Thai restaurant are really worth it -The Nile view room is really spacious and the view is beautiful -The swimming pool near the Nile gives a special feeling to the place -The small bar near the Nile is perfect for a shisha evening without having to go to the city -If you like to workout you will have a trainer at the gym helping you with your workout -Special thanks to the staff for being so ready and helpful with everything you need -Would definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely come back if I will go back to Luxor someday

The wifi was terrible, it kept lagging and was very frustrating. For a prestigious hotel like this, they really should provide better wifi connection in this day and age.

Beautiful property with a lovely balcony. Very clean, comfortable, lovely and professional staff. Huge and amazing court yard with several options for dining, coffee or drinks. Couldn't ask for more. Shout out to the boys in the cafe (especially Muhammed) for making us laugh each time and for making our stay more memorable.

Location is great, facilities are excellent and the staff are fantastic. Rooms are very comfy, recommend getting the Nile view, fantastic views of the balloons at sunrise and amazing sunsets over the Nile. Great place to unwind after a day of exploring Luxor!

The toilet in my room did not flush waste well. One thing i am most fussy about is my personal hygiene, and having a toilet that does not flush properly is both unhygienic and embarrassing. It is a waste of water as well.

The restaurant prepared excellent meals that were delightfully tasty. The panorama from the breakfast table across the Nile was the best way to start your day. The friendliness of the staff and their attitude to ensure your stay was enjoyable was most commendable.

The hotel is beautiful and our rooms were very spacious. The staff was helpful and friendly which made our stay lovely. They even told us how much we should pay for the taxi to the airport which we appreciated so much.
