Towel card system is bit of annoying. This kind of 5star property should quit this application. Just give your guests as much as towel they like. And collect every towel people left after pool gets closed.

Kids club must be renovated, it’s not good for kids to stay in a stuffy area behind the glass. And I would add tented are with wooden floors for practicing yoga, pilates or any kind of fitness

Not a criticism, but there are a lot of steps in the resort, which with a pushchair can be tricky, they do offer an excellent shuttle bus though, which our son loved riding in. They need a few more anti-slip mats by the pool to prevent accidents.

We had a wonderful family stay here with our young toddler. The facilities are excellent, the young one enjoyed swimming in the baby pool all day. The restaurants are decent and there is a pleasant beach and great views view to enjoy. The real highlight though is the staff. From the moment you arrive until you leave, everyone tries their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. From Basma at the lobby bar, Mahmoud at the pool, Muhammad at the buffet breakfast and every other member of staff, from the front desk to the cleaners, everyone we encountered was a joy to deal with and they were all incredibly patient and kind with our son. Would 100% recommend staying here for a family holiday.

My only suggestion to guests would be to request non a connecting room. Though obviously locked, the doors between are not as well insulated as those which are non connected.

Sunrise Montemare Resort -Grand Select rates as one of my best resort experiences yet. Beautifully landscaped, well laid out, comfortable, well serviced with facilities, and ample options whether it's activities, or tranquility. There was ample space to indulge in whatever one might want from their holiday. The grounds are kept immaculate, the staff and extremely courteous, polite, caring and professional and whilst not overbearing. Breakfast and Dinner were of an exceptional standard. The Rooms were extremely comfortable, clean and spacious with lots of storage, large bathroom and walk in showers. Mine had a lovely veranda with a view of the ocean. Particular mention should go to the following front of house and restaurant team for their hospitality and expert customer service skills. The only thing I will say is they make the cocktails way too strong... for the alcoholics / people that like the taste and can handle their drinks this is a positive, but for a lightweight like me, it was not enjoyable and I'm dead after one 😂 so I stuck with the mocktails option, just taste so much nicer. But their drink making isn't consistent - it does taste different every time. They should do a chart of how strong you like your drinks, so you can point as their English is very limited. This is just a very minor negative, everything has been amazing, this is definitely one of the best hotel we've stayed at (and we've stayed at alot of 4-5* hotels), if other hotels say they are 5*, this is a 10*

Everything was amazing there, so much to do if you don't want to go anywhere (made us not want to go anywhere and we are one of those that like to expore and not sit around the hotel). Lots to do for both kids and adults. The snorkeling area was the best bit for us, a life guard is always watching, so you feel very safe. It was beautiful down there and so many colourful fish - I even saw a stingray, it was only about a couple meters away from me, it was amazing! The staff there are the best I've experienced in any 5star hotel. They are ALL so friendly from cleaners, waiters to reception, and they will go out of their way to help you. Being in Egypt, you are always on defence if they just want your money... there is no sense of that in this hotel, you feel completely safe. The waiters in the restaurant impressed me the most as they will remember what you like to drink from the day before (just asked once) and they will bring it to you when they next see you without the need to ask again - that is amazing memory skills!

The two things we didn't like are: 1-The receptionist Abdalla, who checked us in nice, and I really didn't like his attitude at all. He wasn't friendly, and after taking our passports for checking in, he then went a head and checked 10 people in before us, although they came after us? Also, whenever we came to the reception with a question, he'd be talking to his colleagues and made us wait a lot! What really bothered me is that at the checkout, he came to us with the biggest smile, trying to have me give him 10 stars right at the desk! I insisted that I'd do it later, because I wanna write my honest opinion. 2- The plates at the breakfast buffet smelled very bad!

1-I wanna start with the best part of our stay. The Waterpark park was the highlight of our stay! Albdurahman at the waterpark was very friendly and helpful 🙏 everyone was super friendly and helpful. They were all extremely kind to my daughter and very attentive. We are very greatly for that. 2- Our stay included breakfast and surprisingly there was a big variety and the staff there were very friendly too 🙏 3- The massage at the spa with Nurhan was amazing and highly recommended 🙏 4- The hotel is very clean and very well kept. Everything is neat and tidy, and the area was very clean. It literally looked better than the photos. 5- we loved our cute room with an amazing view 🙏 You won't regret staying here

The beds were not too comfortable and I'd recommend changing the bed sheets for new ones as they seemed a little old and used.

Food was absolutely delicious, especially Basil restaurant had really nice italian food. The main restaurant was also delicious and had a ton of options to choose from for breakfast as well as lunch. Employees were super kind and helpful especially Mr. Reda and Mr. Ibrahim the life guard they provided us with unforgettable memories. Thank you for your hospitality :)
