Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Saudi Arabia1-Transparency in Reservation Costs: During the reservation process, the final cost with taxes was not clearly displayed before confirming the booking. This lack of transparency made it difficult to accurately assess the total price. 2-Clarity in All-Inclusive Packages: My reservation was for an "all-inclusive" package. However, details regarding exclusions within the all-inclusive offer were not readily available until the booking confirmation stage. It would be helpful to clearly outline what's included and excluded in all-inclusive packages before confirming booking. Animation Program Improvement: Compared to other hotels in Hurghada, the animation program seemed limited. Enhancing the variety and quality of entertainment options would significantly improve the guest experience.
1- Hotel location: It was perfect for my needs. 2- Service: The staff was generally respectful and helpful throughout my stay. 3-Spa & Massage center: I also enjoyed the spa and massage center. Services were reasonably priced and provided a relaxing experience. 4-Restaurants: The variety of restaurants on-site was a big plus. The Italian restaurant, in particular, stood out with delicious food.

United KingdomUnfortunately the sofa bed was broken in our room which made it very difficult to accommodate the 2 kids. They could not sleep and this meant out stay was not as comfortable as normal. We have reported this fault and I am sure they will fix it soon. Room 4205.
We have stayed here many times and it is still a favourite when in Hurghada. The heated pool is a perfect way to enjoy the winter sun and the slides entertain all ages. The staff here are exceptional and the food is excellent.

United KingdomThere was a reasonable choice of food but it all tasted bland and had the same sort of flavour to us, others may have a different opinion however it wasn't to our taste buds and we ended up eating out most days.
The hotel was in a great location, not far from the airport however there was no disturbance from planes. Lovely beach adjacent to hotel. Ahmed Mazhar at Reception was exceptional. He did everything in his powers to make our stay comfortable We were in G4 block - 4002 on the ground floor facing the water slides. This was a renovated room, however we were first given a room in G2 block which was unfortunately very old décor in need of renovation, Ahmed Mazhar sorted this and he was able to give us a lovely room. Ahmed Mazhar is a lovely, friendly gentleman as well the reception funny man, he will do his best to help you. Would we stay in this hotel again? - most definitely.

HungaryAt 6pm both the pool and the beach closed but dinner only started at 7. Our children would have enjoyed being on a playground in the time inbetween but the playground here was not very age-appropriate for either of them.
it was a great place to stay with two little kids. Both our 3-year-old and our 10-month-old loved the pools and the sea as well. The beach is calm and not too far from the family rooms. There are different restaurants you can try for dinner therefore the food does not get boring even for 7 days. Service is amazing, all staff is friendly, smiley and helpful. In the room it was quiet and we could make it completely dark for the kids so they slept very well.

United KingdomIt took some of us a while to get used to the food. One restaurant, Pebbles, had a good selection, the other four less so. But British/Western European travellers, especially those with teenaged children, should note that the appearance and taste of the food is a bit different to what you might expect at a European resort. Not that there was any issue with hygiene, it should be added. But there was a lack of burgers, pizzas, fried chicken, chips etc. Not a problem as long as you're anticipating it.
The location of our room - one minute from the beach - could not have been better; the room was spacious and kept very clean. The staff, without exception, were friendly, polite and helpful. We were spoilt for choice between the private beach and the two swimming pools, one with slides. And of course the fact of endless blue skies always helped.

EgyptAqua is so basic, and it needs expansion. Chinese and seafood restaurants don't meet the expectations and need to enhance their menus.

United Arab EmiratesBreakfast was good , launch was bad, dinner was ok. Some of the staff was having bad attitude at the restaurants specially the chef of the marina bar snacks. We booked 5 rooms with 11 family members and some of the restaurant staff refused to merge the tables in order to sit together with the excuse that its the hotel policy however if you give tips they will do it immediately.
Cool beach, cool pool , rooms are okay and good facilities . Location is ok however its little quiet at Mamsha area.

EgyptThis is my second visit to Swiss inn but Concerning what I didn't like this year ,as I didn't notice this point last year, is that we noticed a type of guests that we didn't get to see before🙁🙁. This was really very disappointing as we expect to deal with a certain standard of people but this type was totally different, their manners and behaviour is very inconvenient and annoying everywhere,on the beach or in the restaurant or on the pool.I think Swiss Inn decided this year to give out offers to some people on some rooms for this type of people to be able to be accommodated. This was the most disturbing thing in my visit. I hope the management to reconsider such decision as this might really affect their reputation and the type of guests they are addressing. Also the mosquitoes were a lot this year.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. They respond fastly to any issue. They try to solve any problems and make us feel comfortable. The beach is very clean and the service at the beach is very good. They get you your drink to your table on the beach which is amazing. The food is good, not much of a variety in the grand restaurant that offers the open buffet but every item they offer is well cooked and tastes nice.If you are an All Inclusive guest ,you will have different options for dinner as there are 4 or 5 restaurants that offer you dinner for free, which is something really very convenient.
