We've had an amazing experience at Desert Rose resort. It was even better than we've expected. The atmosphere was great and we felt welcome. The staff was really friendly and kind to us. Big shout out to our housekeeper Hassan who made sure that our room was tidied every day. One of the big highlights of our stay was the Christmas party. A huge party with entertainment and a massive buffet. We had a blast with a lot of the other guests. Great place to mingle and meet new people!

Unfortunately they refused to give me the invoice at the check-out with any reasonable explanation. It's a right I have and they only gave me the invoice of the extras.

Amazing team always with a smile and doing their best to make a memorable stay. Would definitely return. Only one small detail to improve - bed sheets could be much better.

Desert rose is one of the best resorts in Hurghada, the resort is exceptional in cleanliness and facilities, moreover the welcoming and cheerful staff It is literally like home

We had an amazing time at Desert Rose. It was relaxing from beginning to end. We did not expect much when we arrived but were overwhelmed by the friendliness of all stuff and the amazing Lagune they created.

The food could have been better.

The staff were very friendly. namely Mr Helmy Emad! everyone smiled at us. They were very keen we had a perfect nice stay. The food was good.

Cold and hot water in the room needed plumber and they couldn't fix it , and the hotel is over priced

The hotel is amazing on all levels From the moment we arrived the level of hospitality is great Mr. Helmy the vacation planner made our stay an unforgettable one he welcomed us upon our arrival briefing us about everything in the resort He planned everything for us from restaurant bookings to handling any query that pop up from our side The beach and the lagoon were beautiful and restaurants and food were lovely Definitely wont be our last visit

Awesome big resort with lots of facilities to enjoy. 3 amazing pools and beautiful tidy beach. Helpful, professional staff who always keen to offload the best service. Bars offer nicely made cocktails and main restaurant offers 6 meals a day.

We asked for 2 double beds and we had one. Then we had one big and one small. Hot water takes 3minutes to come. Spa is good but not like Europe.. only one massage even if you try them all lol. Very energetic and not always relaxing. I tried other hotel and the same, I think Egypt is not a location for spa. Hotel is big so you walk a lot which is good for sport but sometimes too much. Maybe some golf cart like other hotel could be nice when you want to go to reception is a nice idea.

Many activities, games, entertainments a great show every night ! Also very quiet and calm place to enjoy the sun on confortable long chair :) Paddel court, pétanque, gym on the beach, dives, snorkeling… all good :) It is Egyptian standard so it is not European 5 stars but they are always helping you, trying to find solutions and are very kind. Bars and restaurant very nice : Fanoosh great, Palm always good. We didn’t get sick during the stay ! Restaurant in the laggoon is very nice for snack and drinks ! Room is good and nice sea view in the suites. We had great holidays and fun :)

The "extra" services people did come to persuade us to buy more stuff on the beach quite often, and pillows could've been better

Stunningly beautiful property with 3 different pools and an entire private lagoon. Too many bars to visit and the all inclusive package is a must. Food and service was top of the line. Front desk helped us organize 2 boat days for scuba diving with the dive shop on the property. Very close to the airport as well but it's a small airport so noise is minimal

- WiFi signal is available at open areas only. For the price of the resort, it should be available free of cost, everywhere in the property! - My Pool View Room had a problem of water leak near the commode

- Excellent Beach/Lagoon, perhaps one amongst the best in Hurghada - PADI certified SCUBA DIVING CENTRE on site - The Quite Pool is a nice place to chill - Cooperative Staff at all restaurants and bars - Vacation Planners help you plan your Vacation upon arrival. Quite an unique feature - Evening Programs are mesmerizing especially the Mexican singers

I do not like the people on the beach always coming to you to sell you something. The Wi-Fi should be improved.

Food was delicious ! Facilities were all great and functional! Beach was fantastic! Guest Relation Helmy and Lucia are always there to help you out! Also staff in general have been always kind to me and my family.

- The hotel did not make me aware of the room specifics on check-in - I had to make a complaint as they allocated on my first night a room with a connection door to another room and two single beds. After I made a complaint on the next day I was moved to a very good room. - Not many activities, e.g. more tennis tables and other activities like darts etc. - A lot of tourist agents or spa therapists on the beach were disturbing the guests. Created cold behavior in the guests. - Advice for the receptionists - doesn't matter if the guest looks rich or not, old enough for respect or young - you need to have correct behavior which will create a nice atmosphere (and earn tips) to avoid the staff screaming in native language something and the guest thinking something bad is spoken for them. - The shower water temperature kept on dropping from hot to cold - not very nice but bearable. - Make sure if you extend for a longer checkout - your room cards will be deactivated and need to contact reception - I think is typical for Egypt private resorts but WIFI was not available in all rooms (just superb ones)

- There was a variety of food options and timeframes the main restaurant was opened (I have purchased all-inclusive), and each evening in the main restaurant there was a themed region food selection. Something for everyone, very professional chefs were cooking omelets, pastas, meat, and desserts. Cutting and mixing salads, and cooking in front of the guests in my opinion created a very professional atmosphere. The restaurant was good enough, same as the food. - The beach is incredible, if I could afford to live there all year I would do it! (not everywhere good sand but it's okay) .- Our front desk supporter Helmy made our stay amazing, he was very helpful and really supportive in any queries I had. - The Soda Bar is an amazing place when live music is available. - Very beautiful resort, everywhere flowers and trees with flowers, fairy lights - very romantic place! - There is an Amphitheater - 'The Great Gatsby' spectacle was top of the best! - There is an outdoor gym - very nice and equipped - There was a Tennis court - paid but still nice to have

We had an awesome holiday in the Desert Rose Resort, and there are several reasons for that. The wonderful garden, relaxing pools, always clean and comfortable room, the restaurants, diverse food, plenty of choice and last but not least: all staff has been top, the service was exceptional. Everyone went above and beyond to make us and all guests feel welcome and satisfied. Lovely people with smile on their faces, very attentive, it was truly heartwarming! I wish I could remember all of you Guys' names, but huge thanks to Helmy and Anita at Guest Relations, Arafat and Mona at Spa, Sandy at Reception, the Gentleman who guarded us at block 2000, the gardeners, room cleaners, Servers in Palm, Blue Lagoon, Sandbar, Sunset and Tropicana bars, Il Delfino, Fattoosh, Ranchero restaurants, and of course Club Soda staff where we spent most of our evenings. They all took great care of us. Thank you for the truly memorable vacation!

The only small minus was that the Standard double room didn't have access to the Wi-Fi. I've had enough mobile data and it was not a problem for me, but fellow travellers may consider that and book Superior double room with Wi-fi access.

We enjoyed everything in the hotel. The food was delicious and we had a good variety of different food every day. The room was nice and it had AC, which was helpful in the heat. The staff was nice and helpful, they were preparing early breakfast for us before 5AM for our day trips. Special mention to Helmy, who was very helpful and was trying to help us with everything. Thank you very much

Limited choice of restaurants with charges

The resort is clean and spacious with not bad restaurants. The staff are friendly and professional. Special thanks to Helmy, he contacted us before arrival and helped settle down quickly. Highly recommended.

Everything was wonderful. If I am asked for improvements, there are two areas I would like to change. Ice cream is only available from 12:00-5:00 pm. This is not a huge deal, but it is the main thing we didn’t like. The wifi is not very strong, but we spent most of our time outside enjoying the weather, views, and the pools.

The resort is very beautiful and comfortable. There are 3 main meals and 3 smaller meals. This is very helpful for late arrivals from flights or tours. Everyone was willing to help with anything we needed.

Resort it self well designed and you will find almost everything inside. Specially lagoon are is great for kids to enjoy see side. Foods also good enough except desert section needs to improve.

Amazing hotel, plenty of bars all around. Tasty food with lots of varieties round the clock. Beach is so nice, perfect pools and aqua park. Vacation planner to help you with planning activities. Application to give you info about timings, activities of the day, make special requests… etc Staff super friendly and helpful.
