The bathroom is a bit small, but it was very clean and perfectly usable.

I’m convinced this is the best place to stay in Aswan. It might be a little bit hard to find in the island, but there were locals who kindly showed me the way upon my arrival. There’s a beautiful garden, the staff is friendly and the room is very nice. The breakfast they serve is superb and you can also buy water and soda’s for a good price instead of having to go to a shop. Extra points for having the goodest dog in Aswan.

Mango guesthouse is located in one of the islands and great for those who want to get away from the hustle of Aswan proper. It is a short ferry ride from the ferry station and a 5 min walk to Mango. The facility and the rooms are super clean and comfortable. Ehab and his team are extremely helpful and couldn't have done this part of my trip without their assistance including transportation and tours. Very safe for solo travelers and recommend Mango. Thank you Mango Guesthouse!

Ihab and his staff were phenomenal. They will do whatever they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The location is great and it’s fun riding the ferry over. The island is a cute little village that you can walk around in. Room was spacious and clean with a balcony. They also have a roof top and a garden to hangout in. Great value too. Overall, highly recommended and would stay here again in the future. Thank you again Ihab!

You can not access with a taxi. You have to take a boat. Then walk 10min… not easy with luggage’s and sleepy kids.

It is a very cute property. Perfectly clean.

Perhaps an extra sign or two from the ferry/main path junctions would be handy if possible - you have to pay good attention to where you're going on the transfer to the hotel to make sure you can find it again next time!

All the staff were lovely, Puk the Danish lady who owns it took the time to answer any questions we had and was just very nice overall - and Ehab looked after us for our transfer from the train station and also in pre-booking an overnight driver to Abu Simbel (also highly recommended!). We loved its location on Elephantine island with no cars (peaceful) and Animalia museum, a lovely spice shop and some nice nearby restaurants overlooking the Nile. It was only 5 minutes walk from the (fixed price 10EGP) ferry, with a super easy trip over to Aswan town. The rooms were big and clean and the beds comfy - we stayed in the Queen studio which has a room with a large double bed and an adjoining room with two single beds and a balcony and fridge - which was perfect for our family of four. The garden at the front of the hotel was beautiful and lovely to relax in with a beer or soft drink which is available from a super convenient and cheap 'honesty fridge'. Good breakfast too.

wish breakfast was included in the price and maybe a bottle of water as a welcome - otherwise great

I felt like I was home the moment I arrived at the Mango guesthouse. The staff, especially Abd took care of me and helped me with anything I asked - and felt safe. If you are staying in Aswan, this little piece of property should be your place to stay. On the island and the area is so cool and interesting and off from the busy life of Aswan

The shower and the toilet are next to each other. Not really a problem, but perhaps the one thing that was not as nice. So, really nothing actually to complain about!

The Mango Guesthouse is run by a lovely Danish lady. It is colorful and comfortable. We had a big room (1 double and 1 single). The bed was nice and clean. They arranged a lovely Felucca boat sunset tour for us (350 Egyptian pounds per hour). We had some lovely food and the breakfast was delicious. The work with a trust system to write down the drinks which works really nice. Lovely cold beers. To get there: Take a ferry for 10 Egyptian pound per person from the KFC ferry dock. Someone helped with our bags on the way back. And they arranged a taxi for us to the airport. They let you know the price and that will make sure you won't get scammed into paying a lot more. We only stayed 1 night. The overal feel was chill, relaxed, friendly.

The guest house is conveniently located just a short walking distance from the ferry station on Elephantine island, the facilities are well maintained and the room was very comfortable and clean, with a high pressure shower that was a relief after a day in the sun. The hosts are most welcoming and always there to help and support, including offering to organize day programs to surrounding sightseeings. The front garden is lovely and gets a nice evening breeze.

The Mango Guest House is on Elephantine Island. So while the setting is rustic the guest house has a nice garden out the front and a terrace to look out over the area an oasis. The rooms are large and clean. The beds are comfortable and we had a great stay. The staff are amazing. We lost a bag flying in and the owner took us back out to the airport late the following night to pick it up. Not getting back until 1am. He would not accept even money for petrol. Would highly recommend.
