Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

EgyptMy recent stay at The Zen Wellness was exceptional, with impeccable service, outstanding food, and top-notch spa amenities that made my experience truly unforgettable The buffet breakfast has variety of food options, i never struggled to enjoy a good meal for breakfast also the set menu of dinner was AMAZING especially the location overlooking to river Nile . Switzerland- some processes still need to be established - in my opinion, when it comes to food, the "Zen style" is somewhat exaggerated here. Fancy, low-calorie Paleo dishes are much more likely to be found than hearty, local dishes. - high costs for personal training, massages etc. - we didn't use these services, but 60 USD for a pranayama lesson is excessive.
+ very new hotel (opening was in November 2023) i.e. still practically untouched hotel complex, very beautiful, new and large rooms + attention is paid to every detail + great & personal service, also for medical cases + high quality breakfast

GermanyAt the beginning I felt very comfortable in the hotel. But as it came to the payment they gave me the feeling I am trying to leave without paying the bill. They took my credit card detail and tried to take the money through their accounting system. But it didn’t work because the security system couldn’t understand why a company based in London trying to take money from my cc while I am in Egypt. So the card was frozen. They tried so hard to take the money several times I had no chance to react to the fraud alerts on time. So I opened the card again and they tried again several times and „reserved“ the amount two times. I complained about that and showed them that they took already double the amount of the invoice. But they didn’t trust me and took a third time the payment. I am still waiting for the „defrosting“ of the payment from the credit card.
The location is great, quiet and have a great view. Perfect to relax. The rooms are comfortable spacious, we had a villa for us as a small group of 3. Nice pool. The quality of the food in the restaurant is excellent, locally products.
