Staff were very kind but could have been more proactive. We struggled to get breakfast on time (no gas to heat it up, or the guys were playing on their phone).

The view is beautiful, nice pool and garden. Breakfast is nice but basic (a pastry, honey and cheese)...

The shower didn’t work but the bathroom had hot and cold water. I didn’t ask anyone about it bc my stay was short.

Easy to book. Easy to find using google maps. Staff was excellent. Rooms were clean and spacious, with private bathrooms. Breakfast included. Beautiful new pool overlooking green pastures leading out to the sea.

The camp’s name is “Tunis Tone”, which is different from “Tunis Camp Fayoum”. The real “Tunis Camp Fayoum” is on Facebook and google maps but not booking.com. This is extremely misleading and frustrating. If you were expecting “Tunis Camp Fayoum”, this is not the place. There are almost no facilities there and we realized that, given the limited facilities, rooms, space and utilities, this place is extremely overpriced. I wanted to say this is a good stay if you just want a place to sleep in, but there are more affordable options if you want to do that.

It would have been very helpful to provide instructions for how to get there. When I entered The camp names on the google gps, I got to a very different place. Aldi, the phone number on booking.com does respond.

The camp is in the middle of the Tunis village. I was able to wonder throughout the little village and look at the pottery workshops and shops. It is a good hop off point to wadi elrayan and rlhittan

THERE WAS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A 1 PERSON ROOM, 2 PERSON ROOM OR 3 PERSON ROOM. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME, JUST DIFFERENT PRICES. A SCAAAAMMM. We asked for an extra bed, and they couldn't add one. Poor water pressure in both rooms, and they didn't want to turn on the motors for better water pressure. Room doors had no lock and handles ,they were old-fashioned with a flap. Bathroom door hinges are so rusty and loud you can wake up in the middle of the night from ur neighbors going to the toilet. Also, one of the toilets had a dead cockroach and a cigarette butt on the floor. Cobwebs in the ceiling of every room. We had to ask for sugar every time we were making a hot beverage. Only 2 people were on 10 rooms and 6 tents, they couldn't satisfy the needs of all the people. Also, they were hard to get a hold of most of the time. The pool was not clean. No fridge. No closet. The terrace was poorly kept and not developed at all. Sand with patches of sand. ALOT OF MOSQUITOS AND FLYES. Without a single fly n MOSQUITO trap in sight. Sitting areas were so dusty. The fresh bed sheets were unclean. And the beds are foam placed on literal stone block. There is no front desk or lobby. And they were slow to get to us on the first day.

Free tea, coffee, nescafe, etc A campfire with a big speaker. U can park the car inside the property. Breakfast was clean and consistent. Feter, black honey and cheese.

Seems quite bare and disorganized, the pool was dirty and unmaintained not sure why there are pictures of it on booking if it's not usable. It's quite small and the seating doesn't overlook any view of greenery since the edge of the camp that might overlook anything is taken up by the pool. So you're just sitting in dust and sand basically not a relaxing spot.

The host is wonderful, and the location is central to everything you would want to do in Tunis. There are lots of activities within walking distance. The pool was clean and refreshing, the view was wonderful, and the fires at night were cozy.

Such a nice camp which is located in the centre of Tunis. The atmosphere is really relaxed and the view on Qarun lake is nice. The breakfast was really good and the owners are so kind and helpful! The owners helped me to organize a trip and find my bus back to Cairo. I can highly recommended this place if you are searching for an affordable and laid-back place!:)
