Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThey don’t have a hairdryer on each room so you have to request it EVERYDAY! Bring yours if you can. Housekeeping is not really on point.
The location and at least the road is not as busy as downtown.

SpainI would like to have more options for the breakfast. All the food was wrapped and we all had to spend time unwrapping each food type. The elevator was really small.
The location is great to visit the Pyramids. The rooms have a good size. The waiter in the restaurant was from Sudan and she was really nice.

United KingdomThe bathroom floor was always a bit wet due to the shower and the bidet. The hotel was also almost an hour away from the airport, which we knew, however driving there at night felt like it took a lifetime. The fact that it was on the doorstep of the pyramids was fantastic!
The hotel was fantastic value for money. Right by the Pyramids with a petrol station nearby, very helpful to buy water! there was also a food court just up the road. Helpful staff who called us a cab when we needed one. Rooms are nicely decorated but have no extras like water or hairdryers. The breakfast had a large choice of items, and even though my daughter is quite picky and the food was very different from home, she found plenty of cookies and doughnuts to eat! The orange juice was lovely, as a vegetarian I also managed to eat enough.

Czech RepublicRooms isolation very poor. Booked room 107 and you could hear every 30 seconds the water pump. The staff moved us to the second floor, room 203. Very beautiful view but broken window, looked liked we slept in the balcony, could hear every single car/ person passing by. Beds not very comfortable but that was nothing compared to the noise. Breakfast really poor.
Very close to pyramids as seen in the photos. The staff readiness to solve issues. Room and veranda view directly to the pyramids.

Very good. Excellent breakfast and very good and cooperative staff. It is worth the money. Mattresses are not comfortable, small open shower designed 3 sided without the door. Not too bad.

United KingdomIt would have been even better if there had been a bar, as the rooftop terrace overlooked pyramids and would have been nice to relax with a beer looking at them.

United KingdomAlthough fab location for the pyramids everywhere else is at least a 40 minute drive in a taxi and be prepared for the absolute chaos that is Cairo traffic. Super scary is all I'll say.
Great location for the pyramids with a stunning view. Hotel is a great base. Staff were super friendly and helped us book taxi. Breakfast is not traditional English brekkie but who goes to Cairo for a fry up? 🤣 Definitely recommend this hotel for a fairly cheap option right by the pyramids (which are just breathtaking)

NetherlandsBe aware that hair-dryer is not installed in the room although you can borrow at the reception. Also, you will hear the big car noise since the hotel is located in front of the large street. It’s not a hotel issue however when I walked to the main entrance of Pyramid from the hotel, there were a few cheaters. They told me that they were the government officer, and it was not allowed to enter on foot from main entrance and i needed to be taken by their cars. But it was NOT true and I actually could walk into. Also when I returned to hotel, another guy tried to rob my cap and baggage mentioning ‘Give me souvenirs’ and I blocked by force. Please be careful not to be cheated and robbed.
Great Pyramid view, Easy to access to main entrance of Pyramid, Lovely breakfast, Kind stuff

AustraliaI think I’ve said enough.
The property is very well located with views of pyramids. It is 3 star with aircon, a little run down and quite uncomfortable bed and pillows hard. it is comfortable but very simple. Breakfast ok but not great. Staff were helpful and polite. No decent restaurants nearby even the Marriott across the road which has highly priced Italian and Indian Restaurants were very very average to poor. Pizza Hut or KFC probably safest options :( The price for the location was fair but would much prefer Zamalek and have paid for transport to pyramids.
