Breakfast was terrible. First day was slightly better as the next day they had stripped the buffet of a few items. Most items that were available had cleary sat out for a while, and there was nothing hot besides porridge. Also no parking available for guests.

Great room for the price, nice clean hotel with modern upkeep. Staff was great, especially the restaurant staff after hours when help was needed. Nothing bad to say other than breakfast and parking situation.

Breakfast is very simple. Breads was dried out!!! No local products available. High price-quality for outsiders not staying. Nothing has changed in 4 years.

The rooms are spacious and clean. There is no cleaning during the stay. Peaceful and quiet room (to the courtyard). My request for an earlier room and a late check out was successful, thank you, it added a lot of value to my weekend vacation. Location in the middle of the village.

No car parking included - car park nearby was 15 euros a day. No sauna in the hotel.

The location was fabulous. A short walk from the gondola and the village express lift, and close to the car park. A great breakfast was included - cereal, toast etc. Room was clean and comfortable. You could store your skis outside on the balcony. The room was warm. I feared it would be noisy at night because of the karaoke downstairs but it never kept us up.

The first night, there was a problem that several rooms, incl ours, weren't prepared at all. But it was fixed quickly with an upgrade, so no big deal.

As for overall experience the plus would be if your hotel would have ski and ski boot storage facility. We have rented ski box from the main (Piste) building, so did not need to carry skis as suggested by the hotel staff to store in the balcony. Probably it would be good idea to provide information about possibility to rent skis and boots storage elsewhere if the hotel does not intend to develop such facilities in house. I believe it would help guests to decide to choose this hotel being confident that they will be able to rent the ski storage elsewhere. Moreover it would even be beneficial for the hotel because bringing skis and boots into the rooms deteriorate the interior of the hotel to certain extent. And the last remark, as many guests already pointed out in the the fact that restaurant zone has a karaoke bar and even some concerts/events on Fridays. We were lucky that we were located at the 4th floor, so the Karaoke noise did not disturb us mostly. However Friday nigh concert was very loud and the music could have been heard through the ventilation system, and later after the bar was closed (probably) at 4 o'clock at night there was a big noise out in the street and we could not sleep well.

Our room (2 twin beds an sofa for four persons) was clean and cozy. Breakfast was ok, lets say 8 stars out of 10. To make it 10 we would expect fried/scrambled eggs in addition to the boiled ones. Breakfast has coffee, tea juices, yogurt, boiled eggs, bread/toast bread, croissants, butter, jams, nut cream, salami, ham, two choices of cheese, various cookies, some days fruits (watermelon, apples, bananas), vegetables (iceberg salat, tomatoes, cucumbers), hot traditional riisipiirakka buns, various milks and cereals (cornflakes, mixed ones, etx), nuts and hot oat porridge every morning. Very close to the mane ski lift and in the center of everything. All Ruka village shops and restaurant are in reach of 3 minutes walk. Cross country ski tracks also very close (next to the main parking lot). Hotel and restaurant staff friendly. Hotel also has a small lounge area with the kettle, microwave and filter coffee machine, couple of tables and chairs/desks where guests can warm they meals and make hot drinks. However it shall be noted that from the dishware only the plastic glasses are there, no plates, no cutlery.

The room was a bit hot and dry, we had to wake up at night to drink. Slightly on the expensive side for a regular room but I guess it's the same everywhere in Ruka Village.

Nice Hotel on the center of Ruka village. Easy to access from the bus drop point. Staff was very welcoming and the broad availability to check-in is really convenient (up to 4am). The restaurant can provide meal until 1.30am but we went somewhere else as it was not that late. Buffet breakfast had all you can expect in a Finnish style (+1 for the oat yogurt).
