We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Björnhofvda Gård is a really nice B&B with excellent facilities and very, very friendly staff. Breakfast was also nice with more than enough choice. Location cannot be beaten: very tranquil, rural environment. Would definitely not hesitate to return when the opportunity arises.

FinlandI pretty much liked everything, as did my spouse. There is some noise from the restaurant below in the evenings if you are staying in the main building of the hotel and not joining dinner yourself, but everything quiets down quite early so this was not an issue for us at all. And I would assume most guests would like to dine in the hotel anyways, as the food was delicious! We did not visit the two other buildings, but they looked amazing too.
Beautiful, peaceful location and the houses have been put together with such great taste - it's a treat to the eyes and mind! The owners are very kind, helpful and friendly. The restaurant is great, with good breakfast. This is a great retreat from busy city life, but as Åland is so small, still relatively close to everything the main island has to offer (especially with a car).

FinlandAs we arrived by bike, the location of hotel was not optimal. The hotel restaurant was closed, and the nearest restaurants were about 10km away. Luckily the weather was nice so cycling to the restaurant was not a real problem.
An excellent hotel on beautiful area. The room and public areas were awesome. Breakfast was one of the best ones during our trip.

Fantastic place in the Åland countryside. Not too many hotels in Finland display this kind of personal touch and commitment to detail. Worth every €uro. The staff is extremely friendly, the food in the restaurant excellent and allergies were well catered for. We had a very nice stay!

FinlandThe service by the owners was polite but distant and did not feel genuinely welcoming or warm. This created a strange atmosphere, so we did not feel like enjoying the common areas which is something we had looked forward to prior to our arrival. We were repeatedly spoken in Swedish to even if it was clear to them that we spoke English - my impression was that we were treated as second class citizens for not being Swedish-speaking (or above a certain age). The lady who was serving our dinner (owner) just disappeared at one point without a word and the husband didn’t seem to pay attention either until we specifically had to wave him over to be able to finish our dinner. The beds were so soft we had extremely sore backs afterwards. The breakfast selection besides the full English was rather limited and a bit odd (ryvita/näkkileipä at breakfast??) so a lot of is was left untouched by the guests. This was the biggest letdown of our stay in Åland even if it was the hotel we most looked forward to visiting - a bit of a shame really as we were on our honeymoon.
The property is beautiful and a lot of effort has been made to create an English countryside style atmosphere. The on site restaurant is a great addition as the choice of restaurants is very limited in the area. The dinner was pricey but ingredients were of good quality. The full English breakfast served in the morning was tasty and we very much enjoyed it.

Breakfast underwhelming: entitled waitress acted incredulous when I sent back a lukewarm tea pot, replacement tea undrinkable, hot food served cold, baked beans from a cheap can, unapologetic communication. Bathtub plug missing. Some odd cheap sketchy fiddling: velcro mosquito net, iron wire window holder, missing bathtub plug... that should be fixed for the price. Lost in a boring area. Too expensive.
All the efforts went to the decoration and the cleaning. It is well-decorated and very clean.
