It is an old property with high ceilings and bad insulated windows. Having said that, the loft was cold, specially in the evenings. They only provide a thin summer duvet so I must say that we were quite cold. It would be perfect if they could provide a thicker duvet specially in the winter months.

Excellent location, big and spacious studio, easy to find, has everything you need in the kitchen (coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher, toaster, etc), shops around the corner. Communication with hosts is very good. I’d stay there again!

They do not have the reception so you need to upload your ID/driving licence/passport into their separate online system. I do not like such as personal data collection and had the apartment not been paid, I would cancel the reservation. Also, after the booking I received like three reminders to do the check in and when I finally wanted to do it, the app said I can do the check in only few hours before arrival.

The apartment was in a good location close to the center. Simple, but with everything you might need for one-two nights.

1) No internet day before leaving. Internet modem was not in the room in order to reset. 2) lack of lighting by the outside stairway. 3) Extreme mandatory silence from 10pm - 7am. To the extremes that taking a shower is prohibited during those hours.

I had problems messaging with the proporty before arrival. Maybe it was because of booking system, not sure. The directions to check-in could be better. They messaged number of key-holder box no 20 but it was in the box no 19! The walls are quite thin that you hear baby cry of the neighbours.

The location was good. The furher point that I was planning to go was 30 min. walk distance. The house is quite small but as I stayed there alone, it was ok. Two people would feel a bit stuck. In general I was happy with the proporty.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. But what maybe could be improved, is that although I have no doubt the provided bath towels were 100% clean, in one of the two rooms we booked, they were clearly old ("yellowish" when clearly they used to be white towels) which gives a bit of an outdated feel. And that feeling was the same concerning the wardrobe of one of the two rooms we booked, old wooden wardrobe with some "cracked" shelves, a simple modern one like we had in the second booked room would do the trick and give a more overall "sleek" feeling. But nonetheless we did not mind it as it was, as mentioned above, clean and the rest of the room, kitchen, bathroom and beds were clean and comfortable.

Location was in the midst of the city, very ideal. It gives you the feeling of living like a local in the middle of Helsinki but the fact that it is just minutes away from Lapinlahti makes you think you are in the middle of nature! You can find several supermarkets a few minutes away (for all budgets), stores (several shopping malls) overall an excellent starting point to explore the city of Helsinki with all it has to offer. The apartments are close by the main bus stop and train station. The rooms were clean and just enough for two people. The amenities were just perfect for a week stay, especially the dishwasher and washing machine were highly appreciated, as well as the toaster and kettle and overall kitchen amenities. The free wifi was also a nice touch! The fact that there was already basic needs supplied by CityKoti was a tremendous plus for us, especially when arriving tired on a late flight in the evening.

It was hard to find where to get the key and then to open the door, maybe some instructions for how to open the door would be good. Some even cheepest shampoo/shower gel would be nice. And maybe some oil, salt and pepper.

The location is great, walking distance to the city centre, train station, but in a quiet neighbourhood. The room had everything needed for our stay. The apartment was clean.
