No issues, though perhaps this time the room was a bit small - with luggage it would be a tight squeeze, but it wasn't a problem for an overnight stay.

This is the second time that I've stayed in this hotel and it is simply the best accommodation in town! The difference from most Finnish hotels is that they seem to understand customer service and have trained their staff well. The breakfast is simply excellent!

The design of the shower often resulted in wet bathroom floors and staff forgetting to change the towels. This is a very easily remedied fault that should be pointed out, as it will eliminate the tar in the barrel of honey.

Wonderful cosy lobby for relaxing together with colleagues after a busy day. Breakfest is beyond all expectations – amazing selection of quality local food, very high standard of service.

For all the hype, breakfast was nothing special. Surprisingly small selection, boiled eggs were cold and omelettes were nothing special. Also, your whole brand is pricey.

The best breakfast I've had in any hotel around the world! It was a Fathers' Day special, but still, just wow what delicacies there were starting from raindeer meat up to cloudberry champagne.

Parking wasn't cheap, though it was secure. There was no way to clean off equipment in the gym - there were paper towels but no disinfectant.

A good location for walking around Kuopio. We really didn't need a car until we went to the Sauna further south, though we could have explored more by car, and we did walk a lot! The room is comfortable, but not very big. The breakfast was fantastic. The gym was serviceable. There is a bar in the lobby, since the restaurant closes at 10pm, but it's not as nice as sitting in the restaurant area. We enjoyed our stay but felt it was a bit overpriced compared to other places we stayed.

Lack of wardrobe and room for luggage. We had two small luggage and it was just and just enough room for those. The bathroom also was small and the location of toilet paper holders wasn't ideal.

The hotel decor was wonderfully laplandish, all the staff were great, friendly professional, and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were delicious experiences full of nature's delicacies which one could not find in other restaurants various smoked fish and herbs from the Finlamd's nature as well as the more familiar breakfast items. The location was good too.

Maybe how the building looked like from the outside and the location of the recepsion, it was hard to find at first. Maybe some paintwork would do woders for the facade but the inside of the hotel was beautiful all the way!

It was very nice and clean and for the basic single room it was very neat and modern. Staff were super nice, kitchen and serving staff were so friendly at breakfast and served coffee to the table, I have never experienced something like that and it felt so good after! ☺️ And food was amazing too!

The pillow was too thick and there was no closet in the room (which would be an issue if staying for longer than 1 night).

Nice decor, very clean everywhere, friendly and smiley staff, good breakfast with plenty of options with couple of Finnish specialities as well. Location is perfect (next to the train station & few blocks away from the city centre).
