Friendly and welcoming staff. Stunning interior. Great breakfast. We visited in March and was great to warm up in the sauna in the evening after a day of sight-seeing. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in Savonlinna.

The bed was too soft for my taste

The receptionist was really helpful and they were willing to change my booking after I confirmed it with wrong dates.. And the breakfast omlet was wonderful. Thank you so much for the cozy stay in your hotel

It was a bit fresh inside the room, but the outdoor temperature was about -30 degrees during those days.

Our stay was exceptional! The historic building exuded charm, and our spacious room easily accommodated our family of five. Nestled in the city center. A stunning view from our window on the lake, making our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for a perfect blend of history and comfort!

Wonderful location in the best part of town in a building with a history. Amazing breakfast, charming and informative staff. Lott of atmosphere, kind of a Masonic Lodge kind of dining room. Walking distance to the fort and the docks. Small but cozy room.

The best breakfast ever!!! A great variety of salty and sweet options, all very tasty, presented in a spectacular room which brings you back to the beginning of the XX century. Very clean and quiet place, in a very central location (in front of the lake shore, at a few minutes walk from the castle)

There was nothing I didn't like about our stay. The only thing I would do differently if staying there again is I would request a room on one of the upper floors. We could open the windows in the bedroom and kitchenette which was wonderful but because we were on the ground level we couldn't leave them open overnight which I would like to have done.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Its right on the edge of the lake and it was very quiet and peaceful the castle is only a couple of minutes walk away and the harbour and town were less than a 10 minute walk. It's an old building with beautiful old style rooms. Our room was really big with a nice sitting area and a separate kitchenette with a sink, two ring cooker, kettle, fridge and utensils.. Tea, coffee, and sugar was supplied but no milk. The beds was very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. It was well stocked with very nice toiletries. The breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of both hot and cold foods and extremely tasty. The staff in the hotel were extremely nice and helpful.

Great hotel in Savonlinna and amazing breakfast. We were traveling with family, so we booked a room for 4 people. It worked really well. Clean and comfortable. We would be back to this hotel.

There was no elevator so we had to carry our bags up a flight of stairs.

We had a second floor room with a wonderful balcony overlooking the lake. We highly recommend this room. Swimming in the lake was fantastic. The breakfast was very good and the staff was terrific. Parking on the street was safe and free.

A lovely traditional hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. The location is one of the best in Savonlinna and can't fault the service. We had a family celebration which was organised smoothly, and the food was really tasty and catered to our exacting requirements.

Room was a little small and at basement level with window opening onto terrace so noisy in the evening, but not overnight. For privacy had to have blinds down.

Location could not be better. Breakfast was excellent.
