The kitchen was clean but the maintenance is needed. The furniture is very old and needs improvement. The rooms had little or no isolation, poor ventilation as well. The furniture in the room had scratches. The pillow was old and unusable. The fridge in the room makes a lot of noise when it is cooling. The only way to enter the rooms are through codes, which makes sounds on every single click, no matter the time of the day.

Super quiet at night, every room and front door open with the same code so no risk of losing keys, pretty close to the centre and several busses very close to the hostel. Kettle and fridge in the room were a handy bonus that I wasn't expecting. Masks were available at the entrance for who still uses them Btw for those who need it, american programs (like csi, the simpsons, etc...) are shown in original version with finnish subtitles. Good to know for when you're stuck inside

It was really cold in the room, there was a ventilation systems that blows cold air, and you can’t turn it of. The bedsheets were not entirely clean. The shared kitchen was not clean, dirty pots and cabinets. There was lack of kitchen utensils. No glasses or wine opener. Also there was no pan. Hostel outside and in the lobby not cozy. Also our door unlocking mechanism was not working well, we had to enter the code 2-7 times to get in our room. we stayed only 2 days but we wouldn’t like to stay longer.

It was simple and cheap. compared money and quality it was quite good. We had a room in the first floor but then change it to the 3rd floor and room in the third floor was cleaner and nicer and more cozy. In the room there were dishes and cattle. Hostel is in a good location it’s kinda far away from the city centre but it is not a problem travel with bus ( about 25-30 minutes).Really good public transport connections, drives every 15 minutes and long enough, you can go at night without a problem. I recommend to buy a day ticket if you planing to use buses, train or tram also ferry ( for all of these there is one and the same ticket). Near the hostel there were market and mc’donalds.

I and my boyfriend stayed at this hostel one night from 3rd July to 4th July. The hostel was quite empty and very quiet. There was set of cutlery in the room, two big plates, two small plates, two bowls/plates for soup, cone coffee filters, two cups, two glasses, a cutting board, a kettle and a fridge. And then there was fully equipped kitchen on the floor. We also got two hand-towels and two bath-towels.

Bear in mind that this hostel is not located in the city center. Also, the bathrooms and showers are shared ones, located in the corridor.

Checking in with the door code was simple and the room was clean. The hostel was easy to reach by bus from the city center. It is close to a bus station. The fridge was a nice plus in the room.

The shared shower and washroom were not clean and tidy. It most likely was just some peoples hygiene, standard is not what we western Europeans expect or keep as a basic standard.

In Pitäjänmäki there is nothing good to say. Luckily CS did make it possible to change to another location on the next day.

there were a lot of people staying there, we were told that it was being used as a government help housing and as student accommodation where they were using the shared kitchen and the bathrooms all the time and as they lived there were not taking great care of it and there were a few loud parties but I put that down to us being there over New Years !!

the room was very private and clean and had great facilities of a fridge and microwave and was very spacious. we pushed the beds together to make a large double which was very comfortable for us. and we were provided with towels which was great

Place was messy and loud. Our room was not clean, hair on the mattress, random spots and something i assume was grounded coffee? Also there was only one pillowcase for two people, so I had to wrap a towel around my pillow. Our kettle was broken. We went to the shared kitchen to boil some water to get coffee, whole place was very messy. There was random bags laying around the place, very smelly. A lot of loud people. I wasn't expecting too much, since the price was quite cheap, but i dont think it was worth the money, and i wouldn't go back

The room was windy which is quiet bad when outside there is -20 C. I'm not the person against the cold but when we arrived, I only took off my coat and 5 more layers kept on myself. The heating system actually didn't work at the room. Cleanliness was also poor. Old bed sheets with sign of blood or paint and some other dirt. Under the mattress were everything: hair, small pieces of dirt and so on. At the bathroom the plughole didn't work properly, the water stay with us and were rising:D

The only one good thing is the call service (but it took 30 min to reach someone), she was helpful and made the situation a bit less awkward. And maybe the location.
