We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FinlandIt's old, and that's mostly a good thing. But therefore it's natural that the utilities are a little run down, and sound proofing isn't maybe top notch. Everything works, so it's not much of an issue, but just know beforehand that you're staying in an older building.
Excellent old school gasthaus vibe. Centrally located. Feels like a family business in the best sense. Restaurant on site.

Very authentic small hotel. The ladies are very nice and helpful. We had dinner in their restaurant. Very fresh fish with the best bread you will ever taste in your life! It's a home made rye bread with unbelievable flavours. If one day we are back in the neighborhood, we will absolutely book this hotel again.

NetherlandsThis old building has its own charm. The rooms are spacious, though have that old world feel. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast with each room's portion of cheese, meats, yoghurt, boiled egg being prepared and left in a fridge. We also ate in the restaurant which was excellent.

FinlandThe bathroom, toilet and shower were quite small, which is a minor downside. You can clearly hear sounds from the outside and also from the corridor when other guests move to and from their rooms. This can be somewhat disturbing and may require the use of earplugs. During my stay, the breakfast was mostly just a tray in a fridge and basically included additionally some bread, porridge and coffee/tea. This might be less than some travelers expect. I personally would have liked to know in advance in more detail what the tray includes and maybe the staff could have asked for any preferences. Now some of the items on the tray were left uneaten and most likely went to trash, which isn't ideal.
It's a small guesthouse with a central location in Uusikaupunki. The building is old and the rooms are decorated accordingly. The room was nice and cozy. The staff were nice and helpful. Overall my short stay was good and I would definitely consider coming again on my next visit.

FinlandPooki is located in the heart of Uusikaupunki, and it was very easy to arrive to the hotel by car. Due to the Covid-19 situation breakfast buffet wasn't available but you could pick up the food from the fridge and make your own coffee. It was easy and nice and our special diet was noticed. Hotel's interior design is attractive: fashionably old and "sailorlike".

FinlandThe other guests were not very likeable. People randomly walked into our room and smoked inside theirs with the smoke travelling to ours. Also, noise from a separate party made it impossible to stay in the B&B all evening.
A typical tavern style accommodation, with plenty of historical links to the town itself and nostalgia from old artefacts. Rooms are in their 80-90s look.
