It would've been nice if I would've been possible to request a vegetarian/vegan breakfast. Although I travelled on short notice, so I fulliy understand that wasn't possible :)

As it is a Guesthouse, not a hotel, I think you get very good value for money

Plenty for breakfast, even for non-meat eater. There is plenty of space if you come with children and family.

Beds (we had 2 single beds) were rather narrow

Convenient locations just outside of the town centre - but an easy walk. Peaceful area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast boxes were amazingly good - plenty to eat.

A notification about keys was sent in Swedish only. When we arrived at 5:00 PM and used a cell phone to call a live person with a question, a man answered in a very bad English. He was somewhat annoyed and impatient explaining how we can get into the room. In fact, we were not the only ones who were confused how to get in.

Breakfast was OK. A young girl who appeared to be a housekeeper was very pleasant and helpful.

It was unpleasant to notice that there were some hair from previous guests left at the shower and it made me a bit doubtful of how well the place had been cleaned even if the rest of the space seemed okay. Even though the actual guest house was in a quiet spot, the walls are very thin and you can hear conversations through the walls.

Breakfast was surprisingly great with plenty of items in the bag prepared for each guest. They take all allergies and dietary requirements into account. The location was also ideal: just a short walk away from the harbour and next to a big supermarket. Super easy for people travelling by car. Comfy beds and each bed had its own socket.

No traffic noise, but there is no noise isolation to corridor though there isn't many rooms next to yours. Other lunchbox dietary option wasn't obeyed.

Spacious room, quite near to center and railway station. Supermarket next door. Refrigerator, microwave and kitchenware at disposal. Free parking lot.

At night, we didn’t get hot water in the showers, but was okay in the morning.

Great value for money, clean property. Had issues with the keys, but they were quick to come and help. Breakfast was surprisingly wholesome and nice.

It would be nice if more hooks and countertops in the room and bathroom to put small items such as bags, hats, glasses and towels.

Breakfast is good, location is very close to bus station which is easy to arrive.

As a guesthouse Folkia was excellent. Getting and leaving the key off hours was easy. Nice breakfast ready in the fridge and a nice and well equipped kitchen to make your own dinner in. Stigu's groecery store at walking distance. The guesthouse were quiet, at least off season, the room clean and quite big. Easy to find by car and good parking. My fiance thought it was central but for me, growing up in Hanko, I thought i was a bit off the real centre. However the price, off season, is more like the price of a hotel room and this is not a hotel, it is a guesthouse.

It was wonderful that the hotel had a gluten-free option for breakfast.

There could be more entertaining in the hotel (e.g. sauna, small gym, a closed grill place, etc.) in case of bad whether. Also in the room there could be a bit more (e.g. soap and shampoo, napkins) but this wasn’t a big problem since there is a supermarket just nearby.

Room was Ok to stay few days. I liked that location is in a peaceful place, yet rather easy to access beach and port. Large market nearby added the value to location. Staff did job nicely and seamlessly.

I reserved the room well in advance and still got a room towards the sun and it was too warm. The bed was rather narrow. The TV didn’t work properly and the bins were never emptied during my stay.

Breakfast was good and I liked the idea of having it when I wanted.

The property is advertised as having a reception is does not (not an open one), the sole reason for booking was to get luggage storage, while in the property they did not answer any of my messages sent via booking.com and did not provide reception or luggage storage. I phoned the number from the hotel card and it said the number was out of service
