We stayed 5 night or even more. Everything was great. Friendly owners. It was really good to have own sink in the room. Otherwise there are 3 common toilets and 2 showers. Breakfast was nice. Central location. Nice garden terrace. Try their pizza downstairs, it is really delicious.

I spent a night here and am extremely satisfied. The staff is very attentive and friendly, the ambiance is comfortable, and the bathrooms and room are very clean. In this guesthouse, you can brew coffee or make tea at any time. The hotel's location is excellent, on a quiet street, not far from the ferry and the city center. It's delightful to have morning coffee in the small courtyard outside. Additionally, there is a pizzeria on the ground floor. In the morning, I took my luggage to the ferry terminal (a 10-minute walk) and left it in an automated storage locker (6 or 8 euros depending on the bag size).

As a smoker, I would've liked some kind of rain shelter outside, but this is just me whining. I should quit smoking. Also perhaps add a fridge for guests' own food stuffs? (If there was one, I didn't find it, and you should disregard this negative point!)

The location was very central, w/ free parking. Very suitable for exploring Mariehamn city on foot. Hosts were awesome.

This in nut directly the gesthomes foult, but the sound isolation was bad and you could here your neighbour. The location was also I bit from the center, but not in a bad place or to far away.

Nice location on a quiet street within a short walk from both the ferry harbour and downtown. Our room had the basic necessities you need for a short weekend stay and the breakfast (included in the price) was awesome. Tuija was an extremely friendly and helpful host.

This is one of the cleanest hotel/guesthouse I have ever been in! It's not fancy; the bathroom and showers are shared, and there is no air-con is but we are absolutely fine with it. Close to town, the ferry terminal, supermarkets and restaurants. The room comes with a simple breakfast and the our host, Tuija, was so kind and accommodating. Keep in mind it is not a hotel that has a 24/7 front desk person but any requests can be arranged directly with the host in advanced. We had a wonderful stay, overall.

The location is in the residential district but just 10 mins walk will arrive to the main street or ferry place. Tuija is super thoughtful host with huge hospitality to help with every little problem. Stay here is very homy and cozy! It's not luxury but the way Tuija treat guests makes the feeling much better then stay in those regular hotels.

No air conditioning in the room but hey – it's a guesthouse, not a 5 star hotel.

I felt really welcome. Tuija is a warm and friendly hostess. Location is great: on a quiet street, 10 min walk to port and centre. Nice and simple room, well-cleaned toilet and bathroom right next to it, fully equipped kitchen free to use. Ok breakfast with good vegan options. Great value.

The place was nice and homey, especially the owner was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was very good, not huge but it had everything I needed, and everything tasted good. The location was great, walking distance from the harbor and the city center.

Sounds from the street came in even through shut windows and as there were cars driving close by, it was a bit noisy especially in the morning. During the first day the air conditioning was also whining quite loudly.

The location was very good and the house was nice, nothing great but comfy enough. The owner was very nice. Breakfast was good.

One minor issue - there was a constant humming noise in the room, maybe a generator or air-con, not sure. Light sleepers could have trouble with it, but I did not. Take earplugs just in case.

Considering this is in high season in Mariehamn, the Neptun represented excellent value for money. A friendly welcome from Tilja, a clean room with a comfortable bed, reasonable WiFi, and a decent number of well-maintained showers / toilets per room meant you were never queuing up to clean up. The little breakfast buffet wasn't bad at all and there was even a small attempt to cover those with dietary requirements (lactose/gluten-free products were available), and there were a couple of excellent extra touches, namely the little fridge for guests to pack provisions and the free tea/coffee in the kitchen. Throw in a location less than ten minutes walk away from the ferry terminal, and another five to Torggatan, which is Mariehamn's main road, and you've got accommodation that cost-conscious travellers can reserve, in my opinion, with confidence.
