Breakfast was delicious! Everything local and sustainable too! Portions were good and the staff very friendly and helpful. Duvets were soft and fluffy and the lounge had comfy chairs and sofas- perfect for playing boardgames.

That we could only stay for one night.

My son said this hotel was the very definition of coziness. The staff were very friendly, talkative, and helpful. There was a big group having an event the day we were there and we had a fantastic dinner with the same menu as them. The room was simple but tasteful with a balcony facing the beautiful snowy landscape and a sweet forest aroma, and what a comfy bed! The next morning: great breakfast! The lodge is located in the natural park and easily accessible from Helsinki. We loved our stay and surely come back the next winter.

A bit too expensive. Hand washing was difficult in clamping tent. Sauna and showers are in other building. Nights were pretty cold without heating ang heating can be loud.

Breakfast was delicious, staff was friendly. Location is good, close to nature walks and haltia nature center. Hotel is beautiful and views are gorgeous. Clamping was fun experience, nice design, comfy bed, good heating, ecological.

Nice hotel in the center of beautiful Nuuksio National park. Rooms with a modern interior, very clean and warm. Comfortable beds with a good bed linen . Delicious breakfast. Special like to their bread - fresh and very very tasty.

Some of the staff were really not helpful The room was so tiny that 2 on flight bags could not be stored or unpacked.

Rooms are quite narrow, bathroom too. Couldn't use sauna in the evening, only morning without paying extra.

Super location next to many hiking trails and other outdoor activities. Our main reason for staying there. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean.

Nothing bad to say, the only perhaps disadvantage with the last booked sauna shift was you had the "mature" smell of using a sauna, used towels and empty btls in the mtg space. They advise sauna for 6 pers but I'd say its for 3 pers max.

Amazing, dedicated staff! Cozy & tasty, organic breakfast. Very versatile and fresh. Conffy beds and pillows. Nice with a balcony to enjoy the views + AC if needed. Several natural trails right from their root. A separate restaurant 2min walk (amazing food!), Haltia - The Finnish Nature Centre and a mini beach. Terrace where to chill after the sauna! Love the commitment with the recycle company Reuse Center. Will definitely come again - was a staycation for us.

Would have been nice if the hotel was a bit more child friendly — a few extra small details would have made a big difference! The sauna shift is lovely in the morning, but during the week we just couldn't make it that early. We did enjoy it on the weekend though!

Very convenient and comfortable stay in Nuuksio which can be combined with hikes! It worked specially well as we were travelling with a 2 year old. The staff was very very pleasant and kind. Beautiful views of the lake and reserve, great sauna.

Be careful that you can use the sauna only in 1 hour in morning for free. If you want to use it privately in evening, you have to pay 50 euros

Comfortable and cozy lodge! It is located in the center of the forest od Nuuksio, but the place is very convenient to access from Helsinki and the airport.

Quiet and serene, we enjoyed our stay at Haltia. Really well placed for the nature reserve and the nature centre. Not directly on the lake but easy enough to walk down to. Rooms not huge but clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff very helpful and pleasant and rectified an issue we had straight away. Food was tasty.

The room got rather warm at night, but we did not eant to have AC on while sleeping, so we kept doors open. Luckily there were no mosquitos. There was too little surfaces for storing your things, especially in the bathroom. I understand there is less need for a makeup station in the forest, but it would be nice to have at least a shelf for the toilet bag, so that you do not have to store it on top of the fridge.

It is a sustainable accomodation, and they reduce food waste by having a pre-booking system for breakfast and dinner. The view from the balcony is superb, and it is just relaxing to watch the trees and the lake. Going to sauna in the morning was refreshing. They are very dog friendly!

I stayed two nights because I wanted to experience the Finnish forest. But as a solo traveler, I did not want to go too wild to be extra cautious. The hotel met my expectations, you can walk around the hotel and there is already a good forest walking. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast spread was good enough. I want to visit again!!

Very kind staff and the comfortable room. The bed was among the best I have ever experienced. The location is easy to access from central Espoo. You might want to take a bus or rent a bike to get to major hiking courses.
