Last couple of times we stay at this nice hotel. Personal is kind and helpful, amenities are clean, breakfast is tasty. Location is super comfortable for sightseeing and not so far away from Tallink ferries as well as from the Central station.

Hotel clean overall, but in some areas a bit of deep clean (shower grouting etc.) could be in order. Lack of plug sockets in the room; had to unplug lights to charge my phone

The hosts was absolutely everything one needs when in Helsinki. Great central location, impeccable clean rooms, small saunas and magnificent breakfast with all the local goodies one expects in Finland. Top! Will definitely stay here when in Helsinki again.

The breakfast was very good and included many options, especially healthy ones, but I would have liked to have more options of dark or wholegrain bread and Finnish salmon, which I usually expect in Finnish hotels.

The hotel has its unique style, which I appreciated a lot (the design in the corridors, inspirational quotes, colourful kitchenware, dark towels, etc). The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, basic equipment provided, the sauna was warm enough.

It was a bit loud between rooms and between hallway and rooms. The breakfast porridge and espresso based coffee drinks were bland and tasteless, presumably because they were based on lactose free milk as standard.

The overt and clear way the hotel was working towards being a LGBTQI+ friendly and otherwise inclusive and safe-space. The in-house resturant! The included morning and afternoon sauna. The minimalist, yet cosy, interior of the room - and the stark contrast to the over-the top, colourful and flamboyant decor of common areas. Chromecast in all rooms.

The location was superb with all the major sights at the city centre being at a walking distance. The rooms were comfortable and very well maintained and the breakfast spread was terrific. The WiFi was quick and dependable. A special mention of the front desk and service staff who were courteous, helpful, and made our stay so very memorable.

If you are tall, the bathroom can be a bit too small. Also, the Chromecast in our room was not installed - minor thing, we were there for a city trip.

Perfect hotel to discover Helsinki, close to the center but also a bit more quiet. LGBTIQ friendly, also some funny gimmicks around. We loved the breakfast. The staff was extraordinary caring, great service attitude. Try to get the special cocktail at the hotel bar.

Bathroom is a bit small with a tiny sink, but still worked fine. Bed was not super comfortable.

A cozy, artsy boutique style hotel. The rooms have a classic, simple style with Artek furniture. Nice toiletries. Good location close to Kamppi shopping centre. Nice breakfast selection. Very affordable price for this standard in Helsinki city centre.

The elevator is a bit slow from time to time but that is not a major issue.

The Helka is my go-to hotel each time I visit Helsinki due to its close proximity to my work location. It also has easy access to the center of town and the main city shopping mall.
