Staff wasn't really professional / helpful. I have asked staff to help the elderly 91 year old woman who was staying in her own separate room with getting to the breakfast in the morning, instead she was sent to stay in the furthest wing from the breakfast and told that the reception don't have time for helping. She was given bunch of door codes and told to get there on her own. I had to teach her and show her how to get from one wing to another (from outside only!). Without my help, she would have stayed without breakfast, nobody cared from the hotel's side.

Clean room, descent breakfast, nature around the hotel was nice.

The pressure of shower was so poor and temperature of shower was not hot enough for me.

Breakfast was absolutely great and the view from breakfast was stunning! Our room was modern and very Finnish style. It may a little inconvenient location by using transportation, but there are free parking lots. If you come to Helsinki by car, highly recommend this place. Peace and quite

The hotel would definitely need some updating: the corridors smelled weird and sauna + showers had seen their best days. A lot of potential but would need a proper make over (hopefully respecting the original era!).

Breakfast was very nice and the surroundings as well. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was less good than usually... somehow everything fried was swimming in grease 🤨.

It's always a pleasure to stay there. I love the seawing rooms, the view is unbeatable.

A little disappointed by the sauna. It is very, very simple and not very comfortable / tiny. Seems old as well and smelly. Women are only allowed from 7:30 - 8:30 am, and 5-7pm (men get the by far better times). Given there is a sauna culture in Finland, I was surprised about the lack of accessibility and design of the area. Reception closes early in the pm (9pm on some days, even in summer), so if you forgot your door code or lost your room card, you are not in a great position

It's a great location right by the sea. You can go for walks in the forrest or have a bit of both forrest and seaside walks. Facilities are perfect to read books, and unwind (hammocks etc.) Getting into Helsinki town takes about 20 mins by taxi // 50 mins by public transport (walk to underground station approximately 20 minutes). Design of the hotel is really great and special. Breakfast was great too.

Some of the elements like bathrooms or halls need makover and renovation.

I liked the surrounding of the hotel - beautiful nature. We had an amazing view for the sea. Moreover, the architecture of the building is great. The Staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean.

It would be nice if the apartments were better equipped with, for example, a mop stick and other cleaning tools, especially that the shower is leaking heavily.

Location is magnificent, food (breakfasts & restaurant) is good, a perfect place for a visit in Helsinki. Will definitely be back.

Ants in room -quite large ones. Expensive evening meal -slow service despite few people -small portions and not much choice -fortunately we ate mostly with family living nearby. Superior room good size but slightly tired marked lamp shade and walls -looked like in need of redecoration -shower small with screens pulled in -perhaps do away with screens as it is a wet room? Bath room toiletries looked old and like they had been left behind by someone else. Minimal room cleaning but bed made nicely.

Excellent location for us -close to where our family live. Excellent views. Excellent breakfasts and relaxed attractive breakfast room. Helpful staff. Lovely places to sit -attractive grounds and close to the sea. Good TV.

The furnishing in the room does not match the public areas. It is common and suffers from being outdated.

Location and surroundings are marvellous for peacuful leisure by the seaside. Hotel's original 1960s Finnish architecture and design in the lobby areas and restaurant have been preserved wonderfully. Some patina is acceptable because everything is genuine vintage. The terrasses and green areas were well maintained and tidy. The view from the sea wing's large windows through pine forrest to the sea is breath taking.

Room was not cleaned properly, there were hair in bathroom and dirty mirrors, lots of dust everywhere, floor was not clean.

The rooms were a bit noisy and you could hear the neighbors at night. The sauna is only two hours per available day for women, and another 2 for men. We could never used it because we were never home at that time unfortunately. Would be nice to have it available all day.

It is a nice location by the sea and the rooms are nicely designed.
