Not too much to do in Tornio, but that isn’t the hotels fault. Was perfect for getting the polar ice break cruise though which is what we went for. Was also very noisy at night as there is a club near by and the windows don’t block out much noise

From the nice room and the price, I expected a bit more choice for breakfast.

The bathroom was really nice, big, confortable. Very calm place and reachable on foot from the Haparanda-Tornio resecentrum (Swedish side). Very nice staff.

Little bit of bad air in hallway. Room door was very light so all noses came in to room very easily.

Very friendly service and gozy room. Location is perfect and hotel seems nice and quiet. In breakfast there have some very delicious bread and lovely moomin cups!

The wifi connection was difficult to deal with. Nowadays, it should be accessible and connected without setting up an account. It's just harvesting your details. Inferior form and I was very disappointed. We stayed at the hotel next door, no such problems there.

Sadly, the room let in incredible amount of noise. We could hear (and woke up to!) the neighbours leaving their rooms or talking in the hallway. I slept very badly for two nights due to the noise (which was the worst before midnight and past 5am, constant door slamming, staircase walking and people talking). The room was very cold upon arrival! We didnt sleep almost at all the first night. After getting a second duvet and learning to operate the AC that had built in heating, it was much better. Breakfast was nice, but the vegetable options were very sad, often very overripe. They did have a very fresh bread every day, which was amazing. Bathroom also had this weird sweaty smell and very still air. Most dissapointing was the kitchen that was included in the room. It was not equipped at all!! It had a stove, coffee maker and microwave as listed, but no pots, or pans. No knives, scoops, things to stir with. All it had was 4 plates, cutlery and mugs. Super dissapointing as we wanted to cook dinner.

Hotel's location was very nice. There were very good restaurants a walking distance away, as well as a grocery store and a mall. Staff was also very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was nice, but the offer doesn't change.

Room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Even the extra bed for the kids was of good quality. Tasty breakfast and very friendly staff. We came for breakfast and got to our room a few hours early which was a nice bonus.

Car parking is 12.- day, there is a kitchen in the room but no pots or pans to cook, bathroom is small.

There was a few broken things in the room. Such as the fridge freezer latch it was hold together by metalic tape and a few dirty spots

Breakfast was great. The room had a very special design. But it was functional. Kitchette had no pots or pans to use so make sure to bring your own
