Since you share the apartment with the owner, sometimes you can hear them talking etc. Which is okay, just a bit disturbing in the evening.

The room was really nice: a comfortable bed, a wardrobe if needed, a table and a chair. It was cosy and very clean. It was also very easy to find, there is a bus that takes you directly to the place.

The room was nice, cozy and clean! You’re allowed to use the washing machine and the kitchen. The owner is a nice lady and check in/out was super easy :) The location wasn’t a problem for me either since there are multiple busses coming at a regular schedule right in front of the apartment

Location is a bit far from the city center but it has a bus stop on the same block.

Very comfy room with comfortable bed, table and closet. It was actually better than what was showed in the picture. The host is very helpful and always answered me very quick. People should just be aware what they are expecting though. This is a residential area with limited social activities nearby. Also the host is there to give you a place to sleep not to be your friend or tour guide and that's comprehensible. This was by far the cheapest accomodation I found in Turku for my date and it was well worthy!

That was on of the most authentic stays I've ever had. You almost feel like a Turku inhabitant here. Modest but functional. The landlady is there to support you. I'd definitely stay again.

Very comfortable, big, quiet room, with great view from the 5th floor. The owner was friendly and helpful: she even offered to give me an umbrella as a gift, in case of rain the following day.

The shower is a bit tight. A big boned person is not going to like it.

A very good value location places certain expectations to an accommodation and this place positively meets them very commendably. You've got a large mall 20 minute walk away (or a few minutes by car or bus) for breakfast/shopping needs, and bus connections are more than decent.

The owner is a heavy smoker, which wasn't mentioned in the description before booking. The whole apartment smells like a wet ashtray in a bar and so do my travel clothes. Cheap stay or not - this is unacceptable and should definitely be mentioned beforehand.

Stayed there for one night. Please, do not choose this if traveling alone. Very untidy and unpleasant place to stay ( especially bathroom had smell of urine, was unfunctional and I had to ask the host to change the sheets). She told she is not doing anything with the bathroom for she will be having the plumbing renovation in two years.Take photo of everything you touch. I do not recommend this place to anyone for some trust issues.

On a homestay I would expect a bit more open approach from the host. I felt uncomfortable sleeping in a flat of someone with whom I couldn't have a proper chat, whose responses were blunt and not really polite nor friendly. There was smell of tobacco in the room, luckily the window could be opened. The pots and pans were unwashed. The walls are quite thin, I could hear snoring to the room when I took the earplugs off.

All was uncomplicated in the apartment, easily reachable with public transport. Basic cleanliness, ok kitchen equipment, though I had to wash the pots before cooking. Beautiful art on the walls of the flat, cosy little room. I was offered the flat key though for my short stay I didn't need it. The host was available and responsive to my requests. Plenty of room for luggage.

First of all the bedding was definitely not new and clean. It had hair and other dirt on it. The room has no lock, I didn't have a problem, but I wouldn't have preferred it if I had known about it. The host made noise after midnight and I couldn't sleep.

It is far from the city center but takes less than half an hour by bus. The port can be reached by two buses in approximately 45 minutes. I chose it because it was the cheapest among the alternatives.
