I was unlucky and my stay coincided with big French travel groups who tended to take over the whole place (not so great for individual travelers). Some of the staff spoke to me im French (trying to 'entertain' me, assuming that I was looking for some sort of entertainment at all), TV channels are mostly in French, translations of stuff for breakfast also. I don't speak French and don't care if it's French or any other language, just not keen on any kind of mass tourism and didn't expect it there. But they did their best to give me a quiet room away from the groups and to treat me as an individual :)

I had a super nice room overlooking the river which was frozen and was used as a road for snow mobiles and pedestrians alike. The bed was comfortable and location was good (about 8 mins from the main bus station, about 12 from the shop). Internet worked well, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly.

The rooms were not refurbished as shown and they were a bit ‘warn out’. Still clean and comfy but have more a 80s-90s vibe.

the ala carte menu has very few vegetarian options (2), which is very difficult especially in case of longer stays

The hotel could be more creative and thoughtful about the lighting. In the evening when there are chances of the Aurora Borealis the back side of the hotel had some disturbing lights which should be turned off.

The location was amazing and very well connected as the bus stand and supermarket were just a few 100 meters away.

Breakfast was great very traditional finish breakfast. Had amazing fruit. The room was colder than we expected. But they had good blankets so it was manageable.

The hotel is not modern and there are not many food options at the restaurant and during breakfast.

Rooms are warm and clean. The hotel offers a restaurant and breakfast. It is in a convenient position and you can easily see the northern lights from your room. There is a beautiful view from some rooms.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even when my original flight was canceled and I had to take a later one and there was a delay with the airport transfer.

Breakfast could be better, and it is a shame that the sauna / pool are only open from 6 to 8pm.

The WiFi in our room was nonexistent.

The staff was polite, helpful and professional always willing to assist. We wish to mention especially the reception staff and in the Club Nord, William (guide) and the club receptionist- Mrs. Sisko.

Location is very good, my room had river view and it is only 20 min walk from the small downtown area and the back door the hotel faces a big frozen river for all kind of winter activities (northern lights watching right at the hotel, cross-country skiing, snowmobile, snow-shoeing, etc) several of those activities one can practice at no-cost. The hotel has an office from where one can also choose and book lots of activities and the lady in charge is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is very good with lots of food options. The restaurant is open almost the whole day to eat buffet menu or a la carta from 15hrs. I tried several nicely cooked regional dishes. Very friendly atmosphere, family oriented but also good for solo travellers. Ladies at the front desk are also very helpful

Breakfasts were tasty - vegetarians can also be satisfied :-) - but if you stay longer, you might want a bit more variation. The WiFi covered only the reception area and the rooms in the vicinity.

Great place for sport lovers. You can start cross country skiing right from at the hotel entry. The sauna is nicely hot and the swimming pool is really cold (super pleasant!). Our room had a marvellous river view.
