Property was comfortable but quite dated. It doesn’t have a reception downstairs but instead you walk up a floor to a room that’s been converted into a reception. The lady checking is in was warm and friendly. I think the location was good. Only a short walk to the Main Street and train station.

Considering it was a summer hotel and probably student accommodation at other times no real complaints. It was just a room, no breakfast or other facilities but ok as a low priced no frills place

Curtains did not block the early day light, but not a problem for me.

Close to the station. Helpful staff that provided information about Tampere and borrowed me a kettle. Nice spacious room. Comfortable bed. You could open a window for fresh air.

In addition to the fridge, it would be nice to have a possibility to make tea and coffee in the room or on the same floor, especially since there is no possibility for getting breakfast in the building.

The location is very good in the city centre. Prices are reasonable compared to any hotels in the area. The rooms are very clean and practical, the bathroom is spacey. There is a fridge in the room, so you can buy breakfast the day before, or just keep your drinks cool. Staff is friendly.

I had trouble with my room lock and had to get help getting out on one occasion.

The receptionist was very courteous and helpful. The room served my needs for a brief stay perfectly. The hotel was well located for cafes nearby.

There was no air conditioning and the room was not completely cleaned up (there was an empty beer can on one of the shelves). Also, I'd rather have a double bed and a couch instead of two single beds. Plus, there was only one key.

Location was perfect. Atmosphere - unique, lovely. For an unpretencios traveler like me, I couldn't imagine a lovelier stay in Tampere. The view was the best!

Apparently the plumbing was dried out or there was another issue with the pipes, as the entire bathroom smelled like raw sewage. Very pungent. The smell also followed into the rest of the room, although it was never as bad as in the bathroom. There was no staff on call after 4 PM, so there was no one to contact about these aromatic experiences. Stanky!

Cool staff, excellent location. Good for a night or two if you're looking for an inexpensive location in downtown Tampere. Clean sheets and a fluffy-ish pillow, which is all I was hoping for.

No tea and coffee making facilities, no water bottle and drinking glass in the fridge on arrival. The bathroom wasn't clean. The accommodation needs improvement

It isn't a proper hotel actually, but a series of rooms on a floor of a building, with a reception open just a few hours a day. There are no common rooms or lobby or bar to sit in, so suitable for just spending one stopover night. No breakfast is served, but there are a few cafes nearby. The rooms are very dated, old furniture and essential service, no electric sockets by the beds. The bathroom is also old: the water-basin was broken, very thin towels provided. The overall look is really shabby, like a motel of the 60s in need of renovation. I'd suggest it only if you just need a cheap central place to sleep in Tampere.

Easy communication with the staff regarding my late arrival and key delivery. Super central location, next to the marvellous cathedral and the Finlayson/Tempella centers with shops, museums etc.

- interior: what seems like charming vintage furniture is in fact just run-down and in need of replacement - unstable WiFi - no hair-dryer, TV or telephone - elevator broken - way overpriced (we stayed there during the karate championships and paid the same prize as for a 4-star hotel in Helsinki)
