The bathroom was a little dirty and television was not tuned into any channels so could not watch it. Room felt a little cold in the morning, the radiators were off. When I checked in and got the room key, I was given a code for the front door for after reception closed. When I went out after the reception closed and when I came back the given code did not work. The phone number on the door did not work when I called it also. I luckily found a hotel worker outside who let me in. I think the room was overpriced.

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The location by the lake was nice, I am sure the lake would look beautiful in summertime.

For the price it was okay, but didnt look like on the pictures. Very old and noisy. Could hear people talking in the next room. Parking lot very far from the hotel

Very nice location, built originally in 1950*s gives a nice relaxed and spacious layout to everything. Large parking, very helpful staff, renovated sauna, swimming pool, decent gym and amazing surroundings made my stay just perfect. I liked especially that the breakfast was served early. It was very good too.

old house, carpets and doors to be renewed, furnature in lobby, no restaurant only breakfast (could be nicer presentation), no cafe shop, windows need to be changed, it could be such a lovely place but a lot needs to be done

WiFi does not work in the room. It is a pity that the restaurant is not open for dinner, although understandable given the fact that there were not too many guests at least during our stay. Good working service from two restaurants nearby that bring the food to the hotel

Excellent location on the shore of Sääksjärvi lake. We were on a bike trip and we could store the bikes inside during our two nights stay. Simple, but clean room. Good TV. Great sauna and swimming pool. Breakfast ok with everything what at least we usually need, fruits could be more and better quality. Superbe surrounding allowing for a nice walk.

If you have a baby in a stroller you need to walk all the way around for about a kilometer because there are only stairs available to reach the beach. The beds are a bit too soft. There could be more items at breakfast. Pancakes were available for only two days. Price is a bit high.

The location is great. Near the lakeside. Breakfast is included, which is a nice addition. Lots of parking spaces are available. There's also a sauna right on the beach. Lots of fish in the lake if you're into fishing.

This place was a teal find. Apparently, in the past, it was owned by a giant labour union and used for conferences and workshops......and that is what is looks like a big, extremely well equipped conference venue. Under new ownership now and looking for a new model it is a wonderful good value place to stay. The welcome was wonderful, the lake, sauna? indoor pool, pool table......just a great place.

The rooms and facilities are very basic. So don't look for a five star Hilton resort. This place has a beauty of it's own. It holds the atmosphere and value of a long lost time. It brings you close to nature and gives you something more valuable than silk sheets and caviar.

The most peaceful stay I ever had. One with nature. No modern day distraction. The pure basics, clean, well maintained and with a very accommodating staff.

I arrived late at about 9pm (I infromed the hotel in advance) so reception was already closed. They only left me messsages in Finnish - though they knew I didn´t speak it - so it was demanding to get into the hotel. The building looks nice in the photos but in reality everything is old, smelly and a bit scary. Actually it was the biggest disappointment concerning accommodation on my trip to Finland.

Location far from crowds is nice.
