Communication from the facility before the stay was good. The room was clean, quite spacious and the beds were really nice. The breakfast was fantastic, it had a vast spread of foods, everything you could think of, which I was really not expecting. And coffee was good! Lots of parking space outside.

A minor inconvenience - what seems to be the main entrance into the complex is closed and there is a sign that when looked at that spot points into the opposite direction to the actual entrance which is just 20 meters away.

The rooms are very big, quiet and comfortable!

There was a washing machine, but we couldn't use it as no detergent was provided.

Convenient code lock system, nice room, delicuous breakfast with great variety of food. Breakfast was probably the highlight of the stay.

Only thing we missed was a freezer to froze the 'cooling boxes' for the travel fridge.

Hotel was located outside the city in a very peaceful area close to river. Nice, clean and simple room but big enough even for 3 adults for one night. Big fridge in the room and fully equipped kitchen close by at the corridor for making lunch/dinner. There was also a grocery store in 600 meters from the hotel. Breakfast was really good and diverse with even fresh Finnish berries! Easy to check in with a door code!

A bit too warm for sleeping. There was only one small window to open, but could be possible to open upper windows also, which could help a lot.

Outside of the rooms the hotel looked stark and dormitory like.

Twin room was very large and comfortable with tea, coffee, milk and kettle (only hotel to provide milk so far). Our building had a shared kitchen which was useful as no restaurants within walking distance. Self check-in worked well.

Staffless hotels in EU are becoming quite common but the likes of receptionists can assist by advising what to see and where to go.

The downside of Finnish efficiency of this kind is the lack of anything spectacular, interesting, or quirky - and you could probably go through your entire stay without communicating with any staff at all. Up to you to decide if that's good or bad.

This is one of the most Finnish places I have stayed at in quite a while. You would not know if it's a hospital, care home, school, canteen, municipality building or conference center from the hallways - we use this particular interior style for all of them. As a Finn, I felt extremely at home. As it should be in this genre, everything was extremely practical and perfectly comfortable and we slept very well. There was plenty of parking and it seemed like the kind of place you could use for a work or family event. The location just next to the river is probably very beautiful in summer.

I have for the first time faced such a key card from the room (looks like a perfocard for an ancient PC). I had to tinker at the door before I managed to get inside. Bed is too soft for me to sleep well. Breakfast was served in my case in another building, so I had to go there dressed because of wintertime. There was no typical reception desk (maybe I just don't found it), so I paid for the room during the breakfast.

Good location and big territory of complex. Self check-in service is very nice (you just pick up the key from coded box near the door). Lots of places for car parking. Delicious and various breakfast.

Late to bed due to the timezone change and some aurora in the sky at 0130 am so late up and late leaving but nobody seemed to mind. I was offered lunch (students' buffet) since I had misssed breakfast.

our heater control was broken - very cold room- contacting property through booking .com and email and phone call- message resulted in no response- there is no one there at a marginal property- funky entry - if you left your entry (email) in your room and accidentally closed door there would be no one to let you in - like for ever!! No notification as to where breakfast area is - not posted - you guess that its across to another building a community center of sorts.- where no one is there until the morning - price is outrageoius -same as nice places closer to town - but no service whatsoever. place is like a gynasium cold and characterless.

not much - there was a good parking area with power for charging our car batery. funky entry system that worked.
