It was complicated getting luggage to our cabin along narrow corridors, & up and down stairs, but again that's expected in the boat.

Great location for ferry terminal and port train station. Main station is further away. Lovely to be on the river itself in a hostel boat. Rooms and bathrooms are cramped but that's expected in cabins. No double bed but that's expected in a cabin. Excellent breakfast provided. Enjoyed the boat cafe and it's outside deck seating with river views. The free sauna each morning is super hot. Easy to explore Turku by walking along the river. Don't miss the Pharmacy Museum, the free city ferry and the free funicular.

Prices this time were high, so value for money was not as good as usual. Carpet in rooms is old and feels dirty. More towels would be nice: hand towels and floor towel

The drain in my bathroom was smelly. Also I would have appreciated if they would have renovated the bathroom at bit more. Only one socket in the whole room was not enough.

Rooms are small (as you'd expect on an old 1960's ship) and can be a bit noisy from engine/generator(?) noise depending where you are.

There was constant loud noise in the room through the whole night as if the ships engines would've been running. I was staying in a small cabin in front of the boat, maybe former staff's cabins. Maybe the noise would be less in the back of the boat in the more "normal" cabins.

The boat is beautiful and exciting place to stay, a nostalgic travel back in time. The bed in my small "cabin" was very comfy and the breakfast nice in the beautiful old ship dining room.

Too hot temperature inside. It was promiced on booking.com that there is aircondition. It was not. This is wrong info. It was like sauna inside. Please, don't give wrong information!

Everyting is really small in the room and especially inside combined shower/WC. No shampoo/shouwer gel was provided (only hand soap from dispenser). You have to make bed by yourself. Only one towel was provided. The ventilation in the room was a bit noisy. There was only one electric socket next to the door and too far from the table. No extension cable is provided, so charging phone or laptop is challenging. The breakfast hall is nice, but the breakfast variety was rather mediocre.

Perfect location in walking distance from the Castle and port of Turku. Room was clean without any smells. The old ship has a good vibe. There is a simple bar with great outdoor terrace overviewing Aura river. The choice of beer and other drinks was very limited, unfortunately. Free sauna every morning is a big plus. The stuff was polite and friendly. It was possible to leave luggage for few hours after checking out.

As is to be expected on a 1960's ferry, the cabins are small and the location, whilst handy for the ferry terminal and having great views of the river, is a bit of a trek on foot to the cheaper eating places in the town although there is a regular bus into the centre.

The hostel is a real time-piece, doubling up as a museum during the day. Having a sauna available each morning is a great way to start the day followed by a very good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. The cafe and deck near it is also a lovely place to sit with a coffee, sandwich or cake at reasonable prices (for Finland!). The staff are friendly and helpful too.

Location and cabin was superb and a little bar in the aft deck where you can enjoy drinks outside. And I love the humming and slight vibration in the ship like you are actually on a cruise haha! Best sleeping pill ever
