Says shared shower facilities. This is only two showers together outside the sauna, no cubicle. So you either have to wait until no one is using the sauna or you're blocking access to everyone by locking the door for your own use.

Room was great, very clean. Had it's own toilet and sink. The breakfast was takeaway packs as their restaurant was being renovated and I really liked the pack and choices. Very close to the old town and not far from the bus station.

The cleaning could be improved, there was no major hygienic issue but generally the building and the furniture is old and felt used a lot. We really didn't like the curtains which did not cover the window fully and were not dark enough, therefore there was a lot of light most of the night since there is a lack of dark during Finnish summer. There was also no hanger for towels.

The location was good, walking distance to the old city centre. We were able to check in before the announced time. Breakfast was in the hotel in next building. To the location it was ok price for the service but generally compared to other towns in Finland it was over priced. Decent accommodation for budget travellers and one night stays.

Its insane hot in the rooms, so need something to cold it down, or atleast to allowed to open to window.

No air conditioning in the room, so the air quality was very bad even though I had the window open during the whole stay. Nonexistent soundproofing, and having to keep the window open at night meant that all noise from the outside also came in, making it hard to sleep. Rooms are old and could do with some uplifting (ripped tapestry, stains on the chair). The only showers are in the sauna, so I don't know how it's supposed to work if someone uses the sauna for a long time and someone else needs to shower.

You don't hear normal traffic that much but there was very loud noise in the morning, probably from motorcycles.

For vegans, there was vegan cheese and oat milk. There were also sautéed vegetables, salad and fresh fruits.

overnight stay with family (child 9 months) I did not see anything that would be child-friendly, although I indicated the child's age and age 9 months in the booking. there was no question about the child's bed. there were 3 adult beds in the room. some window sill was rattling with the wind so I couldn't sleep. you can get your morning sandwich by going outside through the adjacent building. in the morning the room got cold.

No lift access to upper floor which was not advised until just before the stay. Rooms in need of renovation with peeling wallpaper and mismatched, very worn furniture.

I don't like it because the smell of my pillow smelled like it wasnt wash. The odor was terrible. The door was broken. I had to push it really hard so that I could open it. It was terrible. I thought I was locked inside the room for good.

The room was really warm, uncomfortably so. We had to put a fan on all night so we didn't feel like we were suffocating.

We were upgraded to the hotel that runs the BB which was great because the room was really big and very nice. Breakfast was really good with a very large variety of dishes. It was very quiet and really close to the town center.
