Amazing place to see the northern lights. It was magical experience.

The furniture is extremely dated and basic, and although the kitchen was well-equipped, we would've appreciated a little bit of salt or pepper. I understand it is a campsite type of location, but to expect holiday makers to pay for towels, bedsheets and then not even provide some salt or pepper is a bit stingy, as guests are evidently going to cook if staying in that type of location. We bought salt, pepper and olive oil and left what wasn't used for the next guests. I wouldn't call the accommodation luxurious by any means, but it served its purpose and was okay for the price. It was clean which is the most important thing.

Very cute site, reception was nice, there were free sledges to use and the room was clean with a well-equipped kitchen. The hot water and heating worked perfectly. The room served its purpose. The reception area also has a coffee machine, snacks and some books and games which was unexpected!

Location : City centre was 20-25 min away so it was a bit far. Though there were buses at regular intervals from just outside the motel for going to city centre, while coming back there was no transport between 4 pm and 8:30 pm so we had to take a cab back in the evening each time which was quite expensive. So if you are going in summers then better to stay at the city centre. Also since the location is in the middle of nowhere, there are no coffee shops no restaurants nearby and the resort itself has no dining options so was a bit challenging. We reached late night and had to order in food through an app which was very expensive. Coffee was really bad - they had a vending machine and unless we reached the city centre there was nothing available to eat except a few frozen pizza options which were also non veg.

It was quite value for money and the resort is away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre …it was beautiful when we visited in early March since there was snow all around. Rooms were very comfortable with all facilities and staff was very kind and helpful.

In the kitchen, we couldn't find a pan suitable for cooking anything. The stove was very old and didn't work well.

The location is 9 km away from the city centre so you definitely need a car, the staff is friendly and will give you the bus schedule and help you but keep in mind the distance and the cabs cost a lot.

It is very beautiful and the staff is very nice We were able to see the northern lights on the last night of our visit. Since we had a late flight they gave us the directions and location of the key The location is very scenic and serene WiFi was ok not horrible as some of the reviews suggested

It was a little worn round the edges and.some.og the bedding had seen better days

The heating was a perfect setting not too hot and not cold either. The cabin was quite cozy and the underfolrror heating in the bathroom was great.

The location is nice to be outside of the lights of the city and try to see northern lights. It’s beautiful to be around trees and nature. The fully equipped kitchen is very useful.

Only a few small things: I was missing a tea towel to dry dishes with, and the clean dishes at arrival weren't all clean so I had to pre-wash them myself. A second big towel along with the bed linen would have been nice, I only had one for four days. Tv only enjoyable if you speak Finnish, or at least I couldn't find English channels. In my cabin specifically I missed a 'split' between the table and window light, they were both connected to the same button which made the room either very bright or just a little on the dark side. The other light switch didn't work, so I assume they're each supposed to have their own.

The location is nice and a bit remote, but not too far from the city. The bus stop was right in front of Motelli, which was convenient! Didn't see many people at Motelli during my stay which is nice if you want a retreat with some peace and quiet, and staff were friendly and answered any questions I had with clarity. The cabin is adorable with a bit old fashioned-looking interior, giving a cozy feel. It was nice and warm too! I've recommended Motelli Rovaniemi to a few people. I enjoyed my stay a lot, thank you Motelli and maybe, hopefully, see you later! ♡♡♡

Not having sheets and towels (we had our own) is a negative point. The entrance door to the apartment was completely blocked.

We didn't like stay in the studio apartment, it had very little kitchen stuff, didn't feel as clean, and beds were uncomfy. Also please bear in mind when looking that they charge a CRAZY about for bed linen! Please look around, probably wouldn't have booked.

We stayed twice, once in the rooms with 4 rooms and shared facilities, we really enjoyed that as group of 3, we had tables in our room and beds were comfy. The facilities were great.

Great affordable place to stay near Rovaniemi. Accessible by bus and with good chances to see the northern lights. I liked and totally be staying here again if I come back to Rovaniemi.
