Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FinlandBecause the hotel is located in a hospital area and the hotel reception and the clinic waiting room share the same lobby, it felt less like a holiday at first. Breakfast was decent but it could be better for this price. Proper fresh bread, for example.
The view from the 6th floor was beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The canteen downstairs was good and open late. The staff at the reception who received us were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay.

United KingdomN/A - if I had to pick one thing it is the windows don't open but that is the case for many or most hotels.
Lovely place, I stayed in Tampere after a Ryanair flight landed too late for me to get to Turku (where I was heading) and this hotel was reasonably priced, a bit further away but that was not an issue for what I needed. Easy to get the tram to Tampere the day after. Everything worked well, staff were super helpful etc.

Overall a very nice and comfortable hotel, good location directly by the tram 1 leading into town. Breakfast was good.

A proper breakfast which gives you the fuel for the activities and the location was perfect for my purposes (under 2 km's walk to the Hakametsä Ice Stadium). Lots of park places and from Friday evening to the Monday morning the parking is free of charge.
