This hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the train station which was really great. It was nice and clean, safe for a solo traveller, and also a handy walking distance location from the castle and a couple of other nice walking locations. The breakfast choices were good and the 12noon check-out time was very welcome!

The shower in the bathroom was badly designed and needed maintenance. bottom line it leaked all over the floor. a mop was provided so the problem was well known.

this is a great location and a good modern hotel. the staff are great and it most ways it hits the mark. its just the leaking showers that spoil the experience.

Everything was very good. The hotel staff took care of my requests for garage parking & a larger bed. Breakfast was very nice, but it always is! The staff were very friendly & helpful. Thanks to Petri who understands & listens to our requests. Good job from the Sokos team😊

We stayed on a friday, and ofcourse that’s a busy night in town with more noises on the street in front of the hotel (and in the hallway) at night.

Nice and spacious familyroom, with a sitting area and good beds (also the extra beds for the kids). Very clean room, friendly staff. Great location, close to the castle and right in the middle of town. The boats for the tours on lake Saimaa are just around the corner. Parking garage available. Delicious breakfast, with a lot of choice.

I don't have much to complain. The only thing, i guess, could be this. We left the car in front of the hotel, where there is a time-based (2h) parking between 8:00 - 15:00. That meant that the whole night was free. All was fine, but when we asked at arrival time if it was ok if we left the car and set the meter at 08:00, the staff said that's fine, however a parking slot at the hotel's own parking area wasn't suggested. Nothing wrong with that it all amounted to nothing, we managed.

The staff was very friendly. We (a family of 4) indicated that we will arrive very late 23:00 - 00:00. Everything was ready for us to check in, all we had to do was sign in. The room was very quiet, and the night very pleasant. If we come back, we will come to same place.

No lake view whatsoever. Total false advertising. Breakfast was the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had at hotel Tott, didn’t even get to have breakfast at the Sokos restaurant. Staff were not apologetic and we received no refund or anything.

My assigned room was unexpectedly in a building which was quite rather far away from the named hotel main entrance, reception desk, and breakfast room. it was, in fact, around two corners and down one very long block away! This was especially inconvenient (having luggage). There was no hotel representative on-site at the remote location, and I wondered weather or not I was the only hotel guest assigned a room in this very remote building. Additionally, the hotel was conjoined with an adjacent obvious former hotel which appeared to be no longer operational.
