The property was rather outdated and so was the room. The air conditioning unit in the room made a lot of noise, and we didn't manage to switch it off - earplugs came in handy.

We arrived on a late ferry checking in only around midnight, but that was no problem. The reception staff were very helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed the breakfast with a nice range of options, also gluten-free items. The location was excellent for exploring Mariehamn on foot.

The hotel had no heating (apparently because only open during summer, but nightscand mornings were already chilly.

It`s pretty rund down on the outside. And there is a smell of old house on the inside. The restaurant Bistro Savoy is on every picture of the hotel, but it’s closed permanently.

Clean and fresh rooms. Staff was nice and helpdul. Breakfast was good.

Rooms on street side were really, really warm as the sun was shining there almost the whole day. The curtains should be that kind to block the sun and also light. And the fan is not enough to keep the room even closer to comfortable. It was a bit like sauna feeling, when you are still warming the sauna. Also the air got really thick in the room as the air was not moving anywhere (any central ventilation?). Window you could not keep open before very late in the evening, so that was not option earlier. At weekends, as we are early birds, it would be nice to get breakfast a bit earlier than just 7:30 onwards but that was not a big issue :). It would have been nice to have outside terrace open, as drinks and refreshments were sold in the reception even that the Bistro was not open. Really nice summer weather, you just would like to sit outside after a long day driving around the main island.

- Hotel has really good location as many shops and restaurants are in short walking distance as well the seaside. - Breakfast was good and nicely set out & enough to select from. - Personnel was very friendly and helpful and what ever you needed, they took care of that in the reception. - Rooms were clean and renovated nicely.

Well, the toilet seat was coming away, why was it not reported ,to get another plastic nut or replace with new seat . Ventilation is quite loud, kept me awake, discovered it could have been turned off. No main light in the middle of the ceiling. And no fridge or minibar. Toilet and shower area,bit cramped, but was ok anyway. I guess the place is a bit tired and old.

Room was Ok, because it included breakfast,1000kr for 2 people, which is totally fine. Breakfast was adequate, no real complaint there. Only bacon was missing, was a biggy for me though. normally they have it apparently.

Helpful staf with good advice about renting a bike (the bicycle lanes in Åland are very good). The room was larger and more comfortable then expected, and the breakfast was very good.

I checked out a day early due to travel plan changes, but they still charged me the full amount for the two days initially planned. “Sorry, you checked in so there is nothing I can do” - I think this is poor handling of guests. I will not go back to this hotel.

Had a major hope to go swim with the toddler, but the swimming pool is deep and rather cold, so there was no any shallow space and I could not hold her. But it’s not and issue! Also this system with booking swimming pool with sauna, so we could not go altogether as a family. The thing that the fridge and microwave can be used only through the receptionist - so you have to ask for it.

One of our rooms which was apparently was renovated 2012 did not have AC or any type of ventilation. We were forced to have the window to the street open which affected the comfortability. It was very hard to sleep with traffic running next to your window 24h a day.
