The furnishings and cooking facilities were rather basic, but adequate.

Lovely wooden cabin, very cosy in a forest setting. Very peaceful. Near to a main road and garage with shop supplying basics and great coffee and cakes. Dmitri was extremely helpful as we didn't have a car.

Dmitri was very nice he drove us to the city centre for 40euro so we wouldn’t pay alot of money on taxis as busses weren’t working

Fantastic property with lots of space and kept very clean. Really enjoyed being out of town and walking distance to Arctic Hiking and the river. Warm and cosy and with a huge bathroom and sauna

The nearby gas station store was small and didn't have what I needed. And in the winter, the nearby hiking area seems less suitable for walking and more for snowmobiling. Overall not bad but I expected more activities.

The chalet is very cozy and you have your own sauna. The outside was full of snow and the view from the window super. The owner live there you of you have a problem he is close. He also recommended us places to see northern lights.

The place is wonderful and it has a fantastic sauna in the toilet. Dimitri helped us with everything we asked him for. It is around 20 minutes driving distancie from Rovaniemi city centre. The bed and sofa bed were very comfy, great for a good night rest.

We loved the big sauna! The house was really warm even with -30 outside. They had sleighs for our kids and all the facilities we needed. The place was good distance from city and there wasn’t light pollution so we could see the northern lights in front of our house ❤️

There were a few non-functioning sockets on one side of the wall. But there were plenty of other sockets around.

The location was secluded in the woods, what we were hoping for as we would like to have as little light pollution as possible for the chance to see aurora. The place is very clean and tidy. Outdoor was a very nice place to explore, we enjoyed waking in the woods and there were sled around for us to use. The host was always accessible through WhatsApp and responsive. We had a pleasant stay at Dmitry!

Struggled to lock the doors at first. Would have been nice to be shown the knack to it, but we did arrive very late so can’t blame host for that!

Lovely little cottage just off the main road. Easy access but felt secluded at the same time. Had everything you would need. Outside space for the kids to run round too.

Could have done with a few basic items such as cooking, toilet paper etc as very far away from facilities. Also no bars or restaurants within walking distance.

20 minutes from the city and quiet location. Lovely scenic area nearby with walking routes, outdoor campfire and snow.

(1) A few very small windows were screened, but none of them were upstairs. So on a warm day the downstairs was hot, the upstairs was really hot, and there was nowhere for the rising heat to escape. Screened doors both downstairs to the lawn and upstairs to the terrace would avoid this problem. (2) Most of the window screens were in poor repair, with their holes and gaps stuffed with paper. (3) There was no wifi. (4) There were no blackout curtains. (5) If you’re not from Finland, it may surprise you to learn that the person responsible for thoroughly cleaning the cabin for the next guest is you. They say they’ll charge you 80€ if you do a bad job.

The views from the cabin were lovely, and the layout of the cabin was comfortable. Everything was quite clean.
