The concept/room needs adjustments. At least on winter time the room was too dark with no proper lighting. Architecturally the place looks beautiful and black decor was stylish but it was not functional; I needed a separate flashlight to find my things. There was no reception / seating & hangout area indoors which was challenging with a bigger group: the only option was to either stay in the room or reserve a sauna lounge with a hourly cost. Parking was pretty far especially travelling with a small child. Dinner menu was tasty but there was no options for children specifically. Also breakfast would be better if it was a buffet where you can choose your own options and eat in the restaurant. I think the place works better in the summer months when you can stay outside terraces.

The location and scenery of the hotel is beautiful. Buildings are part of the nature and rooms have big windows. The bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was 'cool' but maybe trying too hard with individual Japanese boxes that were all filled with the same (very nordic cuisine) content - most people will have left a lot, certainly so kids who do not like smoked salmon, blue cheese, chia porridge.. I loved it but maybe a traditional buffet where people take what they need would be more sustainable?

The breakfast tasted good but the concept could be better. You cannot choose the content of breakfast which leads to food waste. Candy bar in the hotel had its expiration date the day we stayed there. You could taste it.

Basically, two things only. 1) The pillows could have been more comfortable (the bed itself was extremely comfortable though!). 2) I'd also like to have the possibility to open windows in the cottage (though the AC did its job alright).

Excellent location: quiet place, nature around, own beach. I liked the possibility to rent a bike and have a free ride on the island nearby. The breakfast and dinner were above all expectations. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great location and unique concept. Even the walk from the carpark up to the hotel is an experience! Beautifully built, the architecture is blending right into the landscape. Modern with traditional wooden materials. Definitely recommend for a one night stay - for an outside of Helsinki excursion, a quiet weekend in nature or as a stop en route to Hanko / Tammisaari. Highly recommend the dinner / the on site restaurant - very modern and innovative menu, cozy dining room and great staff. Breakfast was also very good - high quality local ingredients and interesting presentation! Overall great staff on site - very helpful, friendly and really "owning" the whole place.

Service was limited, Sauna access limited to 90 minutes early morning otherwise has to be booked and paid separately. Restaurant was not cleaned one morning after Dinner service. It was not obvious to have a Restaurant reservation, when you have a room booked. It was suggested to dine at alternative location during check in. Room cleaning was negotiated during check in - very unusual at this price point. Only one chair in room - only one blanked for sitting outside. It seemed understaffed as reception was performing many duties and so reception was often not available.

In terms of services I believe they still have some room for development in that area. When we arrived there was no one to receive us, the receptionist was cleaning the Sauna. And there was no bellboy to help with the bags. In terms of food, the breakfast and restaurant menu is very limited.

The location and scenery is stunning. I do recommend going when it's not too cold in order to enjoy the facility and neighboring islands. The style pf the hotel was very sleek and minimal in a nordic way which was nice.

very odd concierge service. place needs a formal manager. it was farcical that they said they could not be responsible for our luggage upon checkout. they asked us to stow our luggage in an empty lot out of view of the property. what hotel of this caliber will not watch your bags for a few hours? inflexible and strange interaction after an otherwise pleasant stay.

We thought that the breakfast was a little bit poor. Nothing wrong with the taste etc but the quality was somehow surprisingly not very good.
