How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beds are a little hard and small (80cm), but we got used to it quickly. Only 1 sink for 4 people, but for 1 week it is fine.
Great location, close to the supermarket, restaurants and the place to meet for our excursions (Wild about Lapland). Quiet, cosy and clean apartment. Good contact with the owners: they gave us many tips, also for restaurants (book in advance during high season). Nice that salt, peper, sugar, tea and coffee etc were available to use.

My family and I loved staying at this property. The photos definitely represent it really well and are all a true reflection of the place. It is perfect location and only 10min walk from everything that you might need when travelling. Shopping centre, local restaurants, takeouts and there’s a bus stop right in front of the building and you can catch the bus for Santa’s Village from that location. It was very clean and extremely convenient for a family with 2 kids older or younger. It also has a washing machine if you need to use one. It was very clean and beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend the property and would definitely come back to stay there again. You will not be disappointed.

Nothing to complain about.
The apartment was very clean, spacious and had the most starter supplies that I’ve ever seen. There was nothing missing. The large bathroom had washer and dryer units, and a sauna that we happily used after our winter walks. There’s a shopping/grocery center was nearby, as well as the freeway access. Beds were comfortable and very clean. Ample storage space. Dedicated parking spot. Elevator. During this winter visit, the apartment was nicely decorated for Christmas.

I couldn’t get the washing machine working, no water came into the machine!
Christmas decorations and lights in every room, amazingly stocked kitchen, plenty of coffee etc. so warm and spacious and amazing amenities with the sauna and washing machine/dryer.

It has a perfect location and a private parking lot. The house is the best choice for families with kids. We were 4 adults and a baby. The apartment is very clean and the amenities were extraordinary. You can find anything you need in the apartment. The owner is very friendly and easy to reach. I highly recommend this apartment, you won’t regret it!

The apartment was good, as advertised (and more!). The facilities were good. The location was great. Near to everything. The bus to SCV and airport stops right in front. So convenient. Tuomas helped us with the airport transfer and responded to our messages promptly. I would recommend this apartment to whoever wish to stay in Rovaniemi.

The apartment has a balcony where you can sit and cool down after taking sauna. The only “negative” ting about the balcony is that it is covered by Plexiglas. I can definitely see the upside of this during winter season, but we went in August... Luckily you can open one of the windows.
Kitchen comes fully equipped and the TV is good. The sofa and the beds are comfortable. The sauna is a huge plus and we really enjoyed it.

Only scissors were missing from the equipment, but it didn't affect the stay.
The 4-night stay of our five people in the apartment went well. The apartment was very cozy and super clean. The apartment had everything needed even for a longer stay. Fully equipped kitchen, wonderful shower and sauna. A plus was the parking space in the courtyard in the carport, which is a plus especially for winter tourists. The location of the apartment is excellent, close to the center.
