The first disadvantage is the staff on the front desk, they seem to do their job very well but very slowly and discuss a lot with each other for a long time by native language. The second disadvantage is that the spa, it needs to be cleaned more often and place slippers, towels and bathrobes for visitors inside.

In general, it was very pleasant to be in this hotel, very comfortable. I will remember the delicious breakfast in the morning and tea in the room, as well as the design is very cute and spa on the roof of the hotel is so relaxing.

The staff were absolutely amazing, and the food was amazing also. I had to leave for a few days and they let me keep my luggage in the luggage room free of charge even when I offered payment. Absolutely beautiful hotel and would come back again.

Couldnt get airconditioner work properly Air was too warm inside the room thin and wanted to get it lower, but the temperature box on the wall let it regulate but the room temperature didnt change.

Breakfast is very tasty and there is everything you want. I will think of this granola all my live, i swear. Bed is comfortable, room was clean. We had other plans for this stay so we didn't see SPA facility but I'm sure it's good as well. Connection to downtown is good. Granola was good. WIFI was great. Granola was the best. I really recommend this granola. And the staff was like granola. T H E B E S T. Because granola there, omg, just try it.

To get to the city center you need to take a taxi or public transport (30 mins approximately) The wellness area isnt included in the stay and needs to be booked for 20 euros(2 hours)

We stayed 2 nights but not consecutively. The room that we stayed in for the 1st night just had a sheer curtain and let all the lights in. The room was bright even at night due to street lights which was slightly frustrating but the second time I stayed, our room had 2 layers of curtains so I might have been unlucky.

I was very much looking forward to using the spa which was great (although the outside saunas let a lot of cold air in whenever people came in and felt like they weren't hot enough but this was inevitable given it was -20 degrees when I was there). I especially liked the quality of the breakfast, which was unexpected! The buffet had many Finnish dishes and pastries, and they were all very tasty! It's definitely worth paying extra money to eat the breakfast! Overall, I very much enjoyed our time at VALO!

The room was not cleaned we had garbage under the bed well and day cleanings was not cleaning well
