I suppose an automatic light needs to be put above the key pas as it was hard to see the numbers on the keypad

it was incredibly spacious and clean. Vast volumes and beautiful bay windows very modern sauna and easy access from rovaniemi airport. Lovely host via whatsapp who responded quickly to answers

Be sure to confirm which beds you need making up before you arrive, as we had to switch them round to suit our party. (3 beds were made up in one of the bedrooms & none in one of the others)

Perfect location less than 10 minutes from the airport. We stayed just for the 1 night, arriving late in the evening before heading north the next morning. The children loved that there was a garden with sleds so they could play in the snow, which was so deep! Loved the bathroom/sauna area too!

This is one of the best houses we have ever rented. It's very comfortable. We felt immediately at home. The house is very modern, has a sauna, two showers... it was our own private wellness temple. While outside, we had temperatures of minus 32 degrees, we felt inside warm and cosy because of the super underfloor heating and the climate concept of the house. The beds are very comfortable. We had a fully equipped kitchen. The owners are very nice and help in every situation.

A beautiful warm tranquil house. We were so happy with our 3 night stay here. The kids loved playing in the snow and going in the sauna. It is very comfortable and has everything you would need.

Our flight got canceled so we booked this villa for 6 people only for a night. We really liked the villa, it's very spacious, very very clean, well equipped and beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend if you have a rented car :)

We were 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids) and we all loved everything about this house!!! The living-room with the open kitchen, the “water area” with the sauna, the bedrooms with nice views, the garden…everything was perfect!! Also the location is very convenient as it close to Santa Park, Santa Claus Village and the airport. We highly recommend it for a perfect stay!!! And a special mention to Paulus who was very nice as a host and made everything very easy from the beginning. Thanks!!!

If you are looking for convenience and near to amenities, this villa has to rent a car to get around. As we didn’t dare to drive on snowy roads, the transport to book taxi for every trip out can adds up to the costing.

The villa is magical, clean and comfortable setting with huge backyard to hangout! Paulus, our host has been at Attentive and adhere to our request promptly. We told him that want to use the bbq, he came over to set it up for us! I give him 1000% for his service! The location is away from the noise, city and light pollution. Good for a quiet moment away from the hustle bustle city life! We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you for the wonderful stay for my family!

The one and only bathroom cum toilet has 2 doors connecting to it. One door connected to the master bedroom and another door at the other end (near the main door, closer to the other 2 guests rooms). So, you need to remember to lock both side when showering and unlock both sides after showering. When one side forgot to unlock, you'll have to make a big loop to go in from the other side. So, it's a little inconvenient. Luckily there's another toilet (no shower facility) for common use.

Villa Artic Light is a modern and comfy holiday home. Hosts (Paulas and Laura) were contactable throughout our stay and answered all our questions timely. The pin code to the place were emailed to us prior to our arrival and even though the check in time was not until 3pm, hosts allow us to drop our luggage first. And on the check out day, host allow us to keep the luggage till 2pm as we had planned to visit Santa Park in the morning. We are so grateful for that. When we arrived the first day, the place was already heated up nicely. We came from Santa Claus Village and felt so cold and so to arrive with a heated place like this was just heavenly! The place is very clean and comfy and very warm. We walked around in our thin pjs and some of us bare-footed. The sauna is heavenly. Lots of places to hang our coats and ski attire. The drying room (sharing the same place with the washing machine, drying machine, sauna, bathroom and toilet) is good place to hang your damp jackets from snow play :) The 9 of us (5 adults, 2 teens and 2 children age 11) shared the entire home and really like the place. My kids love the smart TV. Master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe. We prepared simple breakfast and dinner with the fully functional kitchen. There were many sledges sitting outside but unfortunately excursions took out most of our time and so we had no time to explore the lovely front and back yard. oh yes, Villa Artic Light is really quite near to Santa Park. We booked 2 taxis to bring us there.

i didn’t expect to make up the beds. Was easily done though, could use more pillows. We requested the free pick up service from the train station, but we had to pay for a taxi instead which was disappointing.

The host met us to show us the door access code & provide details about the sauna, and property generally. He also mapped out the location of activities nearby. He was so warm & welcoming and assured us of his accessibility/availability should we need anything during our stay. The street the property is on is a lovely rural setting yet close to Santa Zvlais Village etc, the city and the airport. It was covered in a blanket of snow while we were there so our children had a marvelous time on sledges the host provides for duration of stay & just generally playing in the snow! The property itself is really well kitted out for a family/group stay & there is lots of space with fantastic picture windows. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here!

Beautiful house with amazing sauna, cozy, comfortable, calm. But the most amazing is the host, who was very helpful and hospitable. My children still remember that short stay - how nice the house was and how we enjoyed the sauna in the evening. The house is not in the city, so you might need a car or a taxi. We were aware of that and were ready to use the taxi, however I would strongly recommend to rent a car if you arrive without it.

Nothing that we didn't like.

Paulus is an amazing host. He went out of the way to pick up and drop off our luggage at the railway station. He also drop us off at Santa Village and the supermarket as we did not have a car. He is fast in replying to our queries via emails or text messages. His house is clean, spacious and well equipped. We had great fun cooking and chilling in the sauna. We had an amazing time in the lapland, all thanks to Paulus. Highly recommended.
