Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceThe localisation can be a disadvantge for some people if they do not have a mean of transport. But with a car, a bike or anything else it is not a problem.
The acommodation is really good, you have everything there. The hosts, Valentina and Naemi, are really helpful. They also let you borrow plenty of their stuffs if you want to enjoy outdoor activities like disc golf. Plus, they also reccomand you place to go and that was really nice from them. The brekafast is awesome. Everything is tasty. They are trying their best to let you have a wonderful experience ! You also have access to a little gym if you want to stay fit during your stay there! They are also really happy to discuss with you and really nice, we can just recommand you to go there to spend nice holidays in Aland.

FinlandThe attitude of the owner is like nowhere else. Arriving at two in the night we arrived to the place with the family, the youngest child 4 years of age. Had booked a room Triple room with 3 beds. Got a room with two beds. It was said that there are 2 showers and toilets on 3 rooms, there is one shower and toilet. In the morning while coming down we told that we have an extra person, 4 year old. First we where not told that there is a policy, no kids under 12, only later when at breakfast we where told there is this policy and no exception to that rule can or will be made. This is not according to standards shown in the topic but is under 3 clicks, so it is not something marketed. While saying ok, then we have to find an alternative stay and pay this one. At this point the first problems started and the rest was unheard and unexpected of considering the experience I have in travelling both alone and with the family around the globe. They wanted full payment of the whole time, no exception and no discount, the hostess shouted to get out of her property, the hostess lied to booking customer service that we told we’d leave. We left our bags in the room and told that we will come back after all is sorted out. Being back the hostess was gone and we could not get in to get our children’s bag who we had to locate elsewhere. I called the hostess and it followed a call being cursed at by her, being called her worst customer ever and so forth. She returned after having being called by customer service an hour later. This with two men another holding a large sledgehammer and she had a bottle of wine. She then took my payment and left. Asking her about that I booked a room with 3 beds she did not want to comment. A once in a lifetime experience for sure.
